5 Bedroom House in Whitianga

This lovely two story home is situated on a elevated section with expansive views over Mercury Bay.
It has a private outdoor deck, swimming pool & BBQ area. A safe swimming beach is only a 5 minute walk & the Whitianga town centre is only 3km away. The native bush surrounds are home to a host of bird life and the open plan living areas offer you views in all directions. Ideal for couples, small groups or up to 8 guests.Base yourself here and visit all the fabulous towns and beaches close by.
Upstairs there is the master bedroom with en suite bathroom which has lovely views over the bay, a queen size bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds, seperate bathroom, laundry and a wonderful open plan living, dining and kitchen area with stunning sea views. The living areas all flow out to the outdoor pool and entertainment area. The home is designed to ensure both the pool, outdoor entertaining areas and the view can be fully taken advantage of. Downstairs there is a king bedroom, another twin bedroom and bathroom.
If guest numbers are under 6 the downstairs area may be unavailable. The walk in wardrobe in the master will also be unavailable but there in a built in wardrobe in this room. Unfortunately the spa bath is only use-able as a bath not a spa.
We do not live in Whitianga but can be contacted at all times via phone or email and we do have a dedicated local resident who can assist you if need be. Her contact details will be made available to you before your arrival.
The house is on solar power with an automatic electric conversion if the sun is not shining so there will always be hot water.

Summary: The house was even better than the photos-really exceeded our expectations. Roomy both inside and out, with a great view in front and a heated pool in back. We had relatives over for a swim party and lunch and it was such a lovely place to gather.

Summary: The house is so incredible -- beyond what we expected, so beautiful exterior & interior, and WOW the views.. just WOW! I love the fact that anywhere you stay in the house, the picturesque ocean view is visible. Plenty of space for the whole family, 2 huge lounges! We adore the window reading nook/benches. The rooms and bathrooms are so spacious. The outdoor deck is endless and really created for a big family experience. We enjoyed the pool so much! Debbie is such an amazing host, very accomodating and had great communication with her.. thank you so much for all your help & welcome. SUCH A DREAM HOLIDAY HOME!

Summary: Beautiful large house to cater for a big group. Everyone in our group loved being in the pool everyday! Walking distance to the beach. Short drive to cafes, restaurants and shops. And amazing beaches just a hop, skip and a jump away. I definitely recommend staying here

Summary: Spent our girls weekend here, away from Auckland and were already dreading to leave on Sunday when we first stepped into the house on Friday lol Photos don't do this property any justice! From the comfortable rooms to the breath taking views... LOVE LOVE LOVE! 😘👌 Dealing with Debbie was easy going, and very straight forward... no dramas & no stress. Just how you hope everything will go especially being on holiday. Thank you once again Debbie for sharing this beautiful property with us. We definitely plan to book again, for longer this time lol 😊 Linda.

Summary: We were unfortunate enough to encounter severe weather during our stay in Whitianga, so the outdoor areas and pool sadly remained unused - however we were plenty comfortable enough hunkered down indoors with everything we might need. Debbie the host was fantastic with helpful communication about the weather/roads situation as we were concerned about getting stranded due to flooding and landslips (with international flights due the next day). Would happily stay here again.

Summary: This property is well stocked with everything you need for a fun, relaxing holiday by the beach… with a BEAUTIFUL pool. The beds were SO comfortable. Very clean and tidy. Deb is excellent with communication and made our stay super easy. A very large home with 3 bathrooms which makes getting ready in the morning seamless. The showers are very powerful (luxury) the cupboards are stocked well with utensils/cookware/pots&pans/bowls/platters etc… we had a wonderful time. Will definitely book again. Heaps of bedding if staying in winter too. The view - AMAZING!!!! Only 3kms from town - 45min walk or 3 mins in the car. The beach is at the bottom of the hill (5min walk). You won’t retreat booking here. A+++++
