Plus a helpful welcoming Landlord reception. A faultless holiday - excellent local pubs, Country N Trust or just whizz into Bath. We'll be back.

Summary: We had an excellent stay at Whitley Coach House in March. The property had everything we needed for three nights away to explore the area. It was lovely and clean, very comfortable, light, airy and warm. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed to prepare home cooked meals. The fridge has a good size freezer above which is very useful if you want to take frozen food with you. There is a good range of cutlery, crockery and glasses, saucepans, oven/roasting tray's. The bed was beautiful, a good size and very comfortable. Better than your average holiday accommodation. There was also an outside area with table and seating which would be great when the weather improves. Check in/out was simple, keys in key safe as advised by host Tim in good time prior to our arrival, along with clear directions on how to get to the property. Parking right outside the Coach House is off road and safe. Only noise we could hear was bird song. Tim was very friendly and provided us with good local knowledge. We were encouraged to call or knock at the main house if we needed anything at all, nothing was too much trouble.

Summary: We stayed at Whitley Coach House to spend a few days in the area before attending a wedding in Frome. Tim and Ginny’s communication was excellent, and they were even kind enough to provide a travel cot last minute as we had ordered one ourselves that we didn’t think would come in time (although it did in the end). The coach house itself was spacious enough for the three of us, with everything one might need for a few days away.

Summary: Beautiful property. Very clean and fully stocked. The owner came to greet us and even kept a fresh bottle of milk for making tea or coffee. Since there were 5 of us, adequate bedding was provided to us. Overall an excellent experience

Summary: We spent one night at the coach house but once we had arrived wished it was longer. The lodgings are first rate including a fantastic kitchen area, and we got lots of helpful local advice from the owner (Tim). The king size bed is probably the most comfortable we've ever slept in. We were directed to a local pub (the Pear Tree) which is a terrific spot and only 10 mins walk away. All in all a fantastic base for Bath or Wiltshire in general.... I would not hesitate to recommend to couples and families.

Summary: This was my first stay at Whitley Coach House and I liked it so much that I have booked again next week... and possibly the week after! The apartment is extremely bright and airy with high ceilings, making it feel very spacious. It has been nicely decorated in light colours making it look extremely clean and the open plan layout also increases the feel of the place. I normally stay in hotels, so it was great to be able to have a decent enough kitchen to cook my own meals and have all the expected utensils there. I was met by the host Tim who was extremely welcoming and made it seem like anything I might have needed during my stay was no trouble. There is a washing machine, good quality iron (as opposed to some places I've stayed) and the kitchen equipment was all good quality and in good shape. Fibre WiFi is included which is a plus and there is a smart TV with associated on demand services (NetFlix etc) For me, parking can sometimes be a worry, but with the private drive this was no problem at all. The bedroom was extremely comfortable and the windows allowed a good lot of light in if the blinds are not drawn. Everything was clean and I had a really pleasant stay, hence re-booking.
