Near by Stratton, Magic, Bromley, & Okemo. Very private. The chalet was built in the late 60s and sited to take full advantage of the amazing mountain and valley views. Summary: We absolutely loved our stay here. Such a welcoming place with a stunning mountain view. Everything you could possibly want and more. The peaceful sunroom was a wonderful place in which to write, and of course the nearby VT Country Store, antiques shops, and bookstores were amazing. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would.

Summary: The flowers were special. My sister thought they were fake. Just a suggestion because i have so many allergies....the fan really needs a good cleaning. Overall, superb!

Summary: This is the second time we've spent a full week at this wonderful property. It was so good to be back. John and Nancy were great at communicating everything we needed to know for our stay. The weather was quite warm during our visit but the air conditioning worked perfectly. We spent so much time on the large back deck reading and watching the weather roll through the hills of Vermont. The house is immaculate and well appointed. Every view from this very private property is amazing. Our dog enjoyed frequent dips in the farm pond down the hill. It's a little piece of Vermont heaven. We can't wait to return!

Summary: We loved our time at this vacation home. The views were amazing. The house was very clean and comfortable. It was very quiet and private with lots of land to explore. Nice little stores and restaurants nearby. The hosts were very friendly and attentive. We would definitely return here for a wonderful getaway.

Summary: We had a wonderful week. The views were amazing and the surroundings were were wonderful. The home was spotless and a stocked with everything you need. The communication with the host was easy and we appreciated the mid week message to see if all was going well. We were in the area visiting family and appreciated being close to town but feeling like were were at the top of the world.

Summary: We stayed here 3 years ago on the same weekend (family weekend @vermont academy) then it was warmer than usual. This past weekend it was -17 degrees. The chalet with the wood stove was perfect. It gives you a feeling of being outside . Warm and cozy inside. We absolutely love this place. Thanks again Jim

Summary: This was our second stay here and it is our favorite place to get away and enjoy peace and nature. Our dog loved running around without being on his leash! The chalet has everything you need! The sunroom is perfect for some afternoon reading. And there is a fire pit with wood provided to enjoy the late day sunsets. On this stay we also visited a few nearby towns. There was a Harvest Craft Fair going on in Ludlow that we went to and while in town we stopped at an amazing chocolate/biscotti shop that is owned by a friend. Best chocolate turtles! Another wonderful town is Chester with its historic homes and special shops. Walk around town and enjoy the scenery. We also found a bike trail in Springfield for a walk even though there are plenty of walking trails and road at the property. Hopefully we will return again! Terrie and Larry
