Summary: Hotel was a previous Air force officers club and is furbished to a very high standard. Bathroom huge and included a bath as well as shower. Breakfast included which was a fixed menu and was very good. Only one free drink with breakfast which was a bit odd but freshly made . Parking not a problem but hotel a fair way out of main town, not walkable, so Uber used in daytime and own car used at night when parking in town free. Nowhere to walk local to hotel nor eating places. so had to drive into Christchurch. This was the only issue with what was a very nice hotel

Summary: Was a nice hotel where I wished I had more time to enjoy. It was off the beaten path. The Owner’s were superb. Fun if you want a quiet place in a vintage setting. Price point was above average. Overall, I liked it and would recommend.

Summary: Whilst this was an older property the rooms were comfortable and spacious. We were given a family room on the ground floor which was very spacious. Staff were helpful and pleasant.

Summary: I had stayed in the hotel when an officer in the Air Force Cadets and it was Wigram's Officers Mess. A great nostalgic stay. Everything i remember but better

Summary: Wonderful stay again. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, comfy and quiet rooms. The room was very well cleaned. Only the toilet brush in the bathroom could get some attention.

Summary: Lovely and quiet after spending all day at Ruapuna Race track. Really comfortable beds. Rooms were clean & tidy. Restaurant had a good selection.
