Positive: Everyone was really kind and willing to help. You could ask and get help whenever needed (doing the laundry, advice for restaurants, means of transport, etc.) Moreover, the view from the rooftop was amazing and the architecture of the building fascinating. Definitively worth it!

Positive: Everything good, the house is beautiful and the owner is a great person. The town also is good. The only thing that I do not like is the islamic muezzin that at 5:00 am start to tallk aloud and keep talking for 40 minuts... This is very unrespectful and unhealthy behaviour.

Negative: Islamic muezzin at 05:00 am every day wakes me up. Unacceptable behaviour.

Positive: Traditional Lamu house gave a really good feel for Swahili architecture and design.

Negative: We chose the wrong room with a lot of stairs within the room. Other rooms were all on one level which would have suited us better- our lack of understanding of that.

Positive: Joshua and Lee were great hosts, thank you. The location is perfect with an upcoming art gallery downstairs and the history behind the building itself. Great value for money. Would definitely stay again. ❤️

Negative: Unfortunately you don't have access to the roof unless you renting out the apartment connected to the roof. That was the only disappointment.
