Situated just 1.2km from the historic township of Willunga, this self-contained studio style accommodation is set on 10 acres of the owner's property. Recent refurbishment has added additional bedroom and office /storage to facilitate additional guests. The property has a very large open plan kitchen dining living area. The very large master suite is a mezzanine type bedroom situated above the living space. With a Tasmanian sassafras timber king size bed it looks out to its own small Juliet balcony often visited by Sulphur crested cockatoos and other native birdlife. From the entrance there's is an office area/space which leads to the second large bedroom with queen size bed. A brand-new kitchen has recently been installed with plenty of space for several cooks with plenty of bench top space / breakfast bar area. There's a 50inch smart TV with a large sofa and oversized ottoman and two occasional chairs that lead to onto a very large composite decking area with distant coastal views and paddocks. There is one good sized shower, toilet and bathroom downstairs. Towels & bed linen supplied, the kitchen is fully equipped with some essential supplies in the pantry.
We are super Pet friendly so your pets can have a holiday too. This property is suitable for those who would like some tranquility yet close proximity to facilities, Mclaren Vale wineries, galleries, cafes, pubs & restaurants and only a further 15 minutes' drive to silver sands beach and less than a 30-minute scenic drive to Hahndorf and approx 40 minutes to Goolwa & Victor Harbour areas.
Your pets are very welcome just one rule (please no pets on the furnture!) and keep in mind we have many visitors from Koalas, Kangaroos, lizards, snakes & an array of native birds so we ask you to keep your animals restrained if required. We also have our five dogs, as former breeders of border collies we love our animals! However, if you don't feel the same way let sey! We have some silkie chooks and an Alpaca named Zorro. Although we live on the property, we are respectful of our guest's privacy, we are also easily available should you need anything for your stay, and we encourage you to make yourselves at home and feel free to wander the paddocks to enjoy the views. Summary: My wife and I got to stay at the beautiful property this weekend. The willunga couples bush retreat is such a beautiful place to stay if you are looking for a nice quiet escape from the crazy world we live in. As you walk in you are introduced to the comfy king size bed and the cute ensuite, then walk through the door and enter a sitting /TV room with amazing views out to the gorgeous bush landscape from the balcony. Then you have a stair case (inside) that leads down to a sitting fireplace, dining and kitchen. This property is also pet friendly, we bought our dog and cat along, there are little trails that you can take your walk on and a field you can let them off the lead for a run around. Paula and Bryce are great hosts and we can not speak highly enough of them, and their beautiful property, we'd like to thank you both for such a beautiful time here and we will definitely be back again.

Summary: Paula and Bryce were lovely hosts, very responsive and helpful but not intrusive in any way. The house was very private and a real retreat from day to day life! Extremely relaxing. Everything you can think of was provided - and then some! Nothing was too much trouble and there was nothing more we could have asked for. Our only criticism was that we didn't spot any koalas or kangaroos!

Summary: Hosts thought of everything we might need & provided exta throws for us & even foe a fur baby. Property surrounded by native trees with views from every door & window of the beautiful trees. With restfull deck on with comfortable couch on the top floor & 2 cane seats on the back lower veranda.

Summary: What a fantastic place. If you are looking for a cosy, comfortable place for a few nights or more to get away this is it. In a central location to explore all that the area has to offer. Eat in or an easy short drive to Willunga to enjoy what it has to offer. Highly recommended.

Summary: Thanks Paula and Bryce for a great stay! Perfect place amongst nature but so close to Willunga, McLaren Vale and the beach. We loved hanging out with the dogs, chickens and Zorro! Nice touch with the goodies on arrival, the choccie almonds were delicious, we bought more at the markets! Hope to be back soon. :)

Summary: This was a great place to stay, there was everything you needed and more... from a full pantry and well appointed kitchen to comfortable beds and couches. The surrounds are quiet and peaceful. Its central to many places and it was even fairly quick, about an hour to visit friends in North Adelaide. We intend to return and have recommended it to our friends and family.
