THE NUMBER ONE RENTAL IN WINDERMERE!!! Amazing luxury 5 bedroom timber built 2400 sq ft chateau, sitting on a fully manicured half acre lot with pristine mountain views, in the heart of the Windermere Valley. Walk across the street to 36 holes of top notch golfing at the Copper Point Golf and Country Club. 5 min to Windermere Lake, and a 15 min drive to Panorama Ski Resort/Grey Wolf Golf course, Fairmont Ski Hill & Hot Springs, or Radium Hot Springs. Awesome home base for snowmobiling, long paved driveway with lots of parking for all types of vehicles year round.
Great for family get-togethers', sleeps up to 12 comfortably (8 adults and 4 kids). Features include a playhouse, horse shoes, and awesome fire pit in back yard. 2 big screen TV/DVD, pool/ping pong table, free wireless/long distance calls, ...this place has it all. Close to restaurants and shopping, right off the 95/93 highway, easy access. Prices based on 4 adults and 4 children, extra fees for added occupants, and for long weekends & holidays. This property is not part of a private beach club. There is one king bed & ensuite bath in the primary bedroom, a queen in the 2nd bedroom, two single beds in the 3rd, a queen & two single bunk beds in the 4th bedroom, a double bed & single bed in the 5th bedroom. Summary: Just a few things to note. The property location is good and easy to find. Private as well. The building however could use some maintenance. I had to repair a corner cupboard that was falling off the hinges as well as one of the control knobs for the stove fell off ( one backing screw of two missing- reinstalled) Lighting in Master bedroom is poor- dim and second light was missing a bulb as well. Kids loved the space outdoors- a highlight for sure. Kitchen was very well equipped and we thank you for that. Pool table was very fun! Air conditioning would be a plus to install.

Summary: We really enjoyed our time in the home. There was lots of amenities to keep the grandchildren busy and entertained. The layout of the house was perfect as you are in the midst of everything even when preparing meals
