Positive: It was a lovely location near enough to the town to walk. The facilities were good the shower in particular being excellent. The owner is very friendly and helpful.
Negative: Personally I struggled with the sofa it was close to TV which was high on the wall so I ended up with neck ache. The owner was trying to upgrade the wifi which was a great thing to do unfortunately for us it meant that our last evening we could not watch any TV since it was reliant on wifi which was not fully connected.
Summary: A lovely little cottage close to Ely.

Positive: We had an overnight stay at Windmill cottage. Robert was the perfect host. He made a point of meeting us to say hello, which was lovely. He also gave us an early check in which helped as we had some repacking to organise for a narrow boat trip. The apartment is perfect, providing everything you need for a short stay. The kitchen is well set up, even providing small amounts of basics for cooking. More than we've experienced in other accommodations when staying for a week. The bed was comfortable, with a very spacious layout for both the lounge and bedroom. The kitchen and bathrooms are small but adequate. We loved the central but quiet location. Parking was also provided. Roberts attention to detail including little things such as an iron, cooling fan etc was perfect. Thanks for a great stay!
Negative: The kitchen would be small for two people to cook a meal. However we only needed to make tea and have breakfast. A minor issue.

Positive: We stayed two nights in this very comfortable apartment. Robert, our host, was very responsive on WhatsApp and even picked us up from the train station! The apartment was very clean, the bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was nice. There was plenty of hot water for showers. The kitchen had everything we needed as well as a yummy bag of cookies waiting for us. We appreciated the microwave to heat up leftovers. We were able to leave our luggage on our last day until we left in the early afternoon. The location is great, just a short walk into the heart of Ely. This was really one of the best apartments we've ever had through booking.com. Highly recommended!
