Summary: We booked this hotel while in Santorini because our our hotel was undesirable. We were able to grab the last room at Winery Hotel 1870 and right from walking into the Courtyard, it was amazing. Beautiful entry and courtyard with pool and daybeds. We were greeted immediately and assisted with our luggage. Everything from there on was great. Breakfast delivered poolside daily, free water and friendly staff. The location is great. There is no view but it is right in the centre of Fira so easy access to the cliffs and shopping just 30 seconds up the lane. Also there is no need to battle 100 stairs with luggage as the entrance is 30 feet from the main road. ATV rentals, Food and shopping all without n 30 seconds of your door. Highly recommend this hotel!

Summary: Loved staying at the winery hotel! The location was super convenient to seeing all the sights of Fira and the rooms were clean and quiet despite being in the middle of town. I was worried that some of the “cave like” look of the rooms would feel dark and enclosed but it was extremely light filled and lovely!

Summary: We had a fabulous day at the winery hotel 1870. It is centrally located in Fira and everything is in walking distance. The town is beautiful with dozens of shops and restaurants very close to the hotel. Melanie at the front desk, was a wonderful resource who helped us with various arrangements. suggestions of places to go and things to see, booking, transfers, and booking a car rental. She literally helped us with everything and anything we asked the breakfast were fabulous! I love that you get to pre-order your breakfast and you can have it delivered to your room anytime you want. And every single morning they would call to the minute when we wanted our food delivered and ask if we were ready. We were so incredibly spoiled by staying at the Winery Hotel 1870 and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Santorini.

Summary: The room is excellent the hotel staff are very very friendly. Last minute our cab(welcome pickup) got cancelled. I contacted hotel staff they arranged cab for us within 1 hour notice. Very walkable to all the restaurants in Fira. The Fira view, cable car, 3 bells etc are just behind the hotel. Melanie and Regina are always there to help us.
