Summary: When I walked in to check in, the lady behind the desk did not even smile. The air conditioner in the room was not cool, and there was a light shining directly into our room at night and we could not close the curtains to block it out. At breakfast, the sausage was rubbery and cool. We left to eat elsewhere. Overall, it was a very unpleasant stay.

Summary: The carpet in the room was stained in multiple places. The bathroom sink was scratched and marred. There was no light bulb in two lamps. Room did not have a Do Not Disturb placard. The grounds were littered. A construction crew was literally at our 3rd floor window with wall plaster at 7:30am on Sunday morning. The fitness center was closed. Other than the friendly lady at check-in, there was NOTHING good about the place. And, it was NOT bargain basement pricing, it was more than surrounding properties. I chose it for Wingate’s reputation which they totally ruined.

Summary: Went for a baseball tournament. There are signs everywhere that the property is being renovated- which we understand. When I went in to check in the woman - I did not catch her name, was extremely rude. When we got to our room it was a single king- we needed a double bed. So, I went back down to switch our room.

Summary: They need to finish renovating the property, instead of allowing people stay in rooms that clearly needs renovation. I was moved from one room because the air was cold and it wouldn't turn up, into another room where the ceiling is scary, among other things.

Summary: The room was horrible. The carpet was pass dirty, it needs to be clean asap. I wouldnt want nobody to stay in a room with carpet that bad. I was so disappointed and forgot to take pictures of the floor. The walls was so dirty, the room needs to be repainted before another customer stays in that room. The bathroom door is not working properly, and the room door is the same way. I had to put a table behind the door to feel a lil more safe with locking the door. Please fix these things because if not your rating will continue to go down. Also the company needs to order more towels. I left for breakfast and the housekeeper came in the room and gathered all the towels and when I asked for more towels she told my son I had to wait because they didnt have none clean!!!!!!! remind you I was already in the shower waiting for towels. So I had to wait in the shower til the hosuekeeper found me 2 towels ONLY... Not having clean towels for guest is just crazy. Hotel please do better.....

Summary: If you are bougie, pick a different hotel. For the rest of you.. The hotel is being worked on, so there was lots of dust and construction in the hallway. The hallway smells bad, the carpet is ripped up and raggedy. Our room was basic, it did appear clean, except for the carpet, which got our feet filthy. The smoke detector was covered in plastic and taped up. The bathroom needed remodled. The hot water was nice for showers. The beds were comfortable. The hot breakfast was great. The apple juice machine needed cleaned, the juice was watered down and smelled sour. The black lady that checked us in was very friendly and helpful, the owners... not so much. The pool was closed, that was very aggravating.
