Summary: We rented two houses for several days of Thanksgiving week. This house has great views. It was very clean, and the property manager was easy to work with. We were not sure about some of the house layout in advance so I will write some additional information which may help a future renter. The bottom level has a queen bedroom and a twin trundle bed set – it shares a bathroom off the game room. This is a great set-up for kids. This bedroom also the easy access to the hot tub. Main level has a great kitchen and laundry area with lots of space. The decks off the main level have stairs down to the hot tub and the decks have great views. The main level has a queen with a bath and a half bath. Upstairs is the primary bedroom with a king and twin day bed – this room is large with a large bathroom. Also on this level is a queen bedroom and a double bedroom that share a bathroom. We had a wonderful stay at this property and highly recommend it. We would definitely stay again.

Summary: Stay was just okay. Not great. Not horrible. Lack of master bathrooms throughout was missed on our part, which offered a challenge with multiple couples staying. The cleanliness was not missed on our part however and was disappointing to see/smell. Rotting chicken bones in the garbage disposal was not get to deal with/smell. Vaping devices left by previous renters was not good to see in the master bedroom while unpacking. Lack of sufficient and working lighting was hard to come by as well. Reached out to property management to address issues with email and text available to respond, but neither happened on their end. Only a business card on the door when we returned the next day. No fixes or attempts to return to address the issues. We are experienced renters in the area (with evolve before as well), and this was by far the worst experience we have had. Will not return to this property in the future. Pro: The view was nice (as expected)

Summary: This house is a great rental property in Wintergreen with a spectacular sunrise view. The mattresses were very good. I especially appreciated having ceiling fans in many of the bedrooms. The hot tub, hammock and rocking chairs added to the enjoyment of the view. Parking is easy and there were enough spaces for our 3 cars. The kitchen had all the kitchen tools I needed (except they need more wine glasses). There were some consumable items provided such as spices, trash bags, tin foil, coffee filters & dish soap. There were plenty of games & propane for the grill. Minor negatives: there were plenty of warm comfortors on the beds but no throw blankets anywhere. We bought some and will bring them with us if we ever rent this property again. Several things were broken such as the screen door on main deck, the fireplace glass doors swing when wind comes down the chimney, and the ice maker is not working. Big negative: the dishwasher didn't function properly. The sliding cover to hold the dishwashing soap is broken so it does not hold and release soap at the proper timing leaving all the dishes dirty. We had to hand wash everything. Finally, be aware that there is no broadcast tv on any of the tvs so we were unable to enjoy broadcast football games as we expected. Only streaming services. The internet was good in the main areas for streaming but patchy in the theater. But overall we liked it and we would rent it again if possible.

Summary: Beautiful view! WIFI signal to Home Theater TV is week and was not able to watch movies. Also, need little TLC in home maintenance. Clear check-in instruction well in advance.

Summary: We stayed with our mixed-aged family group (7 adults, 6 children 7 and under) for a weekend visit. The location and views were gorgeous, and the property had a lot to recommend it. At the same time, the level of cleanliness left something to be desired. There was a sticky/dirty knife in the knife block, and two old pieces of pizza in the oven that we discovered when we turned it on to cook something. Also the bath mats and comforters could all have used a wash (particularly in the basement), and we were unable to use the trundle bed in the downstairs theater room because of what looked like mouse droppings on the mattress (and also we couldn't find any sheets for that bed if it had been clean). Also, the kids loved the game room downstairs, but the table under the dart board has a lot of inappropriate graffiti that we had to try to distract the children from reading/looking at. Would have been 5 stars but for cleanliness issues.
