Positive: All perfect. My daughter on a walking stated 2 doors away. I enjoyed a lot of memories. Was born and raised in the area.
Negative: Steps up to property. The railings were overgrown and so difficult to get up with nothing to hold onto!

Positive: An old (Victorian?) terraced cottage with lots of character. All essentials provided, but not "going the extra mile"
Negative: It's all quite impersonal. Easy to access, comfortable, everything in its place. But no personal touch. Absolutely no complaints, but it feels like an investment property run by agents.

Positive: Fantastic little cottage, would recommend highly. Quiet location in village walking distance from 2 pubs and a tai restaurant and post office. Easy to relax and enjoy! Easy instructions to let ourselves in and chocolates and wine waiting for us- lovely. Able to sit outside front door and have our coffee in morning. Clean, nice kitchen and loved the stable door! Good bathroom with shower and bed was good too. Great location to get to Lewes, Eastbourne; in particular up on Beachy Head and Hastings, Brighton and South Downs Way. Lots of lovely local walks. We had a great stay.
Negative: We didn't care for the air fresheners... a bit synthetic and didn't need them ( put them all in downstairs loo) , needs a new pull on light pull in downstairs loo. but this is being really picky.
Summary: Quiet lovely cottage within easy access of Eastbourne.. we loved it!

Positive: Lovely characterful cottage, we enjoyed walking straight out the door onto the downs and returning to a lovely warm homely house.
Negative: The only thing that would have been helpful is to know that the parking is on street before arriving (we were looking for a driveway or something in the dark)

Positive: I loved Wish End Cottage. It was just such a calm place to stay. I lead a very hectic life and sometimes I just need a break to reset and it was just perfect. The whole place had a calm feel to it with all the style and quirks I love in old buildings, coupled with all the mod cons to make life comfortable and easy. I would absolutely stay again and would recommend to anyone.

Positive: Every thing was lovely. It was a privilege to stay in such an old cottage with history. The book with the history about the cottages ,was a lovely addition. The cottage had been sympatheticly restored ,with modern comfort but old charm.
