2 Bedroom Apartment in Gembrook

Wombat Cottage is just a three minutes walk from Gembrook town centre and all the amazing Cafes, Pub, Restaurants, Bakery and of course the famous Puffing Billy.
Short drive to Yarra valley, Bunyip state forest Kirth Kiln, 5 min drive to the Forrest Edge restaurant. Gembrook market is held on the last Sunday of each month at the local community centre. Your accommodation is self contained and as mentioned close and in most cases walking distance to everything Gembrook has to offer.
Space.
Wombat cottage is a 2 bedroom self contained studio. Bright and modern comfortable lounge, kitchenette, shower/ separate toilet plus an outdoor decking for those beautiful sunny days.
Guest access.
This is a totally separate unit. The cottage is 15 meters away from the main house. You have your own entrance door with key so you can come and go as you please.
Guest interaction.
We respect guests privacy. We live in the main house on the property so we are available most of the time should you need anything, otherwise we can always be contacted by phone. We can provide recommendations for activities, restaurants and anything else you may wish to see or do and there are also several brochures in the cottage for you to view.

Summary: My son was doing a work related course in Gembrook and Wombat Cottage was ideally located to his daily meeting point and all amenities. It was homely, beautifully presented, and had absolutely everything my son needed and more. I ended up staying one night also and had the best nights sleep in a soft bed with beautiful linen. The hosts were amazing too. A+

Summary: We had a lovely stay at Wombat Cottage. This property was very easy to find. Checking in was easy and Yvonne offered us an earlier time which was lovely of her to offer. The location is fantastic, a short (although uphill) walk to Gembrook and the local IGA, pubs and cafes are very accessable. It's also close to Olinda and Emerald Lake, we had lovely drives around the area. This property is ideal for any length of time away, it had everything we needed and although it's located next to the owner's property, it is very private. My only negative is the main bedroom had a double bed - it's been a very long time since we slept in a bed that size and we've both expanded since then!

Summary: The perfect place to stay to immerse yourself in a small community. Local markets on the weekend, beautiful bush track walks and mountain bike trails and great places to eat. The town swells in size when the steam train Puffing Billy arrives on some weekends. Everything is close to the cottage which is a very clean two-bedroom home with all that you need for a perfect holiday.

Summary: It was a lovely little cottage with lots of board games and toys for my child to play with while we were staying. Really close to the main road too, could walk to the restaurants easily. Will definitely recommend for a small family!
