The apartment is at the first floor with terrace in a country house in Vada, in a completely fenced 7-hectare estate with olive trees and a small oak forest on the Etruscan Coast in the province of Livorno.
The apartment is in typical Tuscan style and equipped with every comfort, it has a private outdoor area with garden table and chairs, the windows are equipped with mosquito nets.
Two televisions are available with Italian programs and satellite programs in foreign languages, you will also find: CD player, DVD player and free Internet connection.
Air conditioning and heating.
A large swimming pool 15 meters long, 7 meters wide and 140 centimeters deep and a Jacuzzi are available for our guests, and a small pool 60 centimeters deep is also available for children.
In the large solarium, the apartment has a private space with umbrella, sunbeds and chairs,
an area with barbecue, table and chairs is available,
it is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday, five minutes from the sea on the Tuscan coast, a few km from the villages of Castagneto Carducci and Bolgheri, from the art cities of Volterra, San Gimignano, Pisa, Lucca, Siena and Florence.

Summary: We were very pleased with our stay at Casa La Macchia. Our host, Fausto, greeted us warmly and helped us plan our day trips around the vicinity. His restaurant suggestions were also very good. We had a spacious apartment with a working kitchen. The pool and surrounding deck were a nice size. The location, nestled in the countryside, was what we were looking for, and it served as a great base for our day trips.

Summary: The apartment was very clean, spacious and organized perfectly. There is airconditioning both in the bedrooms as in the kitchen/living area. The swimming pool is maintained excellent and there are plenty of seats/sunbeds for everyone. There is a large choice of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. I think it's a great plus to have the owner (Fausto) living in the same domain. (in a house next to the apartments.) Fausto has great knowledge of all the fun activities nearby. He is keen to give you tips on where to go and where to eat. There is a great variation of beaches nearby (white sand, coarse sand, pebbles, rocks, ...) as well as the famous wine-route. Larger cities are all less than one hour away. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone visiting the Tuscan coast.
