Little barn is a wonderful contemporary property offering great space for families or friends in luxurious surroundings, it is located in the grounds of the owners house. Please note this is NOT A PARTY BARN IT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR GUESTS LOOKING FOR LATE DRUNKEN NIGHTS!! Due to close proximity of neighbours we have a strict no noise policy outside after 10.30pm. !! It has a light modern decor throughout the spacious open plan design with 1 double bedroom and a bathroom on the ground floor, upstairs there are 2 more double bedrooms both with en-suite facilities and all bedrooms have their own smart tv. There is an enclosed garden with Gas BBQ with a local pub only a short walk away.
Headcorn is just 2 miles away and offers a range of daily shopping and many attractions close by.
The property is located in a ideal position for exploring both the local countryside and the beautiful coastline.
Hawkenbury is a small Hamlet between the Villages of Staplehurst and Headcorn, sitting 8 miles south of Maidstone, Kent. London and all of its Attractions are less than an hour away by Train direct to Charing Cross and the stations of Staplehurst and Headcorn are only 2 miles from the Barn, this allows you to enjoy all of the Fantastic attractions of London without the worry of driving.
There are several Zoos within an hours drive, these included Howletts and Port Lyme.
Many Castles within easy reach by Car, Leeds Castle 10 minutes and Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens just 15 minutes away.
Hastings, Camber Sands, Battle, Rye and Eastbourne only an hours drive away.
Fantastic indoor shopping at Blue Water Shopping Centre 45 minutes away or Lakeside Shopping Centre which is only 55 minutes away, Royal Tunbridge Wells 35 minutes.
For the Golf Enthusiasts. There are several good Golf courses in the nearby area, The Ridge Golf and Country Club is 10 minutes away, The Weald Golf Club is 5 minutes away and we also have the Top Class Golf of Chart Hills which is only 15 minutes away.

Summary: All we can say is wow! The property exceeded our expectations big time. Clean, spacious, well kitted out with everything we needed plus extra luxuries we weren’t expecting. We were four couples and so the room configuration worked well. Host Myles was brilliant and really hospitable - we will definitely return at some point.

Summary: The property is clean, quiet and cosy. It’s about 2 miles into the countryside from the closest town so incredibly quiet and peaceful, but not too far if you wanted to head out to a pub or restaurant one evening. The beds were very comfy and we loved the hot tub! A great country escape

Summary: We booked this property for a family get together for a birthday and we all reside in different counties. The property was easy to find and easy to access. The location of the property gives you privacy to enjoy family time. The property was beautifully spacious, open plan and everything you could need and more. The facilities are lovely with the use of the bbq and hot tub outside and cosy lounge inside. Friendly and helpful host who was welcoming but also gave you privacy to enjoy your stay. I cannot recommend this property enough and will 100% look to return for future events!

Summary: Family of 7 adults + 9 month old baby stayed for 3 nights for a family wedding nearby. The house is beautifully converted with lovely furniture and decor, so much space for us all. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need including tea, coffee & sugar + washing up equipment and a few dishwasher tablets. There is also a separate spacious utility. The secluded garden has lovely views out onto fields with the hot tub (sadly only used this once due to the weather!) BBQ and garden furniture. We didn’t get to explore much locally as we were with family nearby, but it’s set in beautiful countryside with many places to visit. Had a lovely breakfast at Frankie’s Farm Shop a short drive away after our departure. Myles always answered any questions promptly and we’d thoroughly recommend this property for your stay.

Summary: A special family get together with my two children ,grandsons and their friends , the local pub providing extra accommodation for the one night we needed.The property we stayed in was wonderfully light, spacious, clean and well furnished. The garden had lovely seating, and a popular hot tub, we didn’t use the barbecue in the end but appreciated that option. The property was well placed to explore the places we wanted to go to.Our host was welcoming and offered help if we needed it.- a really perfect place for our week.
