2 Bedroom Cottage in Jeddo, Lexington

Coqui Cottage is a great beachy cottage in the small, quiet cottage community of Birchwood conveniently located approximately one-half mile north of the Village of Lexington. The cottage sits on a bluff and has a wonderful view of Lake Huron looking out over a ravine. Access to private beach via staircase is close by. The beach has been affected by high lake levels and can be very small. There is a village beach in town that is very nice and close by.
The home has two bedrooms and one bathroom plus outdoor private shower. Lakeside bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom also has a queen size bed. There is also a queen pull out and a twin pullout in the living room; comfortably sleeping six persons maximum. It has a modern kitchen with more than ample supplies for your culinary needs a laundry room, satellite television internet service, central air-conditioning, an electric fireplace in a nice sized family room, and both a dining and game table. Al fresco dining on deck with a table for four. Parking area will accommodate three cars. Home is not handicap accessible. Pets are not allowed.
The Village has many events during the year. In summer you may enjoy Music in the Park each Friday night beginning in June. There is an annual craft fair and art fair (usually the first week-end in August.. You can view all the events planned for the year 2020 at the Village of Lexington web site. Two golf courses are nearby; Lakeview Hills in Lexington and Huron Shores ( Port Sanilac).
10 miles north is the village of Port Sanilac which highlights Huron Shores golf course, a marina, lighthouse, and the Stone Lodge restaurant
Port Huron is 20 miles south where you have access to a mall, theaters and hospital as well as a variety of restaurants. Also day trips over the bridge into Ontario are always fun. Remember to bring your passport if planning to visit Canada.

Summary: We enjoyed our 10 day stay in this quaint cottage . Modern, clean, and a beautiful view. We were here to relax and this was the perfect place. Would highly recommend and if we are ever in the area again we would certainly return.

Summary: Nice place to stay. Very close to local beaches, but there is not a beach in the neighborhood association. My husband would have liked a chimenea off the deck since there isn't a beach. Very easy to communicate with the hosts.

Summary: Absolutely love this cottage. Myself and my teenage daughters had a great time reconnecting and enjoying nature. This was our second summer renting this cottage and hope to for many more. My girls are already planning next year.

Summary: This is our second stay at this property. We love the adorably decorated cottage! Its the perfect distance from the beach. The owners communicated well prior and during our stay. It is located in a prime location, close to downtown and restaurants, yet far enough to feel secluded by nature.

Summary: The Cocqui cottage is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The lake views are picturesque even when the weather is less than perfect. The only things we wished for that could have made a lovely stay even better: a designated coffee stand or area for enjoying coffee with the view in the morning, a fire table or small fire pit area for chilly evenings outdoors, and an enlarged parking area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Summary: My family and I had an amazing time,the location was perfect and the home had plenty of room for the six of us. The view of the lake can be seen from most rooms in the house. The rocks that guests sign was a nice touch.I would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Enjoyed the area that was just off the main highway back in a quiet wooded section. Back porch overlooked Lake Huron, very peaceful. The only thing I didn’t find was the kayak (didn’t ask owners). Overall we enjoyed our three days of R &R
