Summary: This property is excellent for large families who love to cook together, play games, and plenty of room to spread out. It was equipped with everything we needed, and was ideally located to Warm Springs Lodge. We had a magical Christmas holiday and would feel lucky to rent again.

Summary: The VRBO ad doesn't do this place justice. This property is amazing. We have been traveling to America's best ski resorts and have been renting homes (for 8-10 adults) for the last 20+years; this is the best one, hands down. Right around the corner ( a few minute walk) and you can rent demo skis, buy lift tickets and get on a lift. The lodge is right there for drinks and food. You can sit outside at the lodge and enjoy a beer after your done skiing and just walk home. You never have to move your car. But, if you do want to go into town for dinner, its like a five minute drive. Stacey was a great owner and would respond to you in minutes if you had a question. We will be back.

Summary: Highly recommended. Less than 200 yards from the ski lifts. Large house with a huge kitchen, many bedrooms, bathrooms and great amenities. Very nice owners who were very accessible throughout our stay.

Summary: We had a wonderful summer stay in the Scorpion Lodge! Location is close enough to ride bikes to Ketchum on the bike path. The kitchen and living areas are huge and there are so many bedrooms and bathrooms everyone had their privacy too. All the windows in the bedrooms opened up to the cool night breezes with sounds of Warm Springs Creek to put you to sleep each night. Outside dining area with a grill and even an outside flatscreen TV, which we enjoyed under the stars at night! This house has everything you could ever want or need to enjoy for a large group vacation! Highly recommend and we hope to come back again!

Summary: Our extended family of 13 stayed over the holidays. Group feedback is overwhelmingly positive! Great property, room for all, plenty of space to gather as a group or get away on your own. Perfect for big groups! There is absolutely everything you need for big group dinners and entertaining. Fireplace is incredible and warms the place up quickly on those cold mornings. Bedrooms were very roomy and everyone had their own space. plenty of room! Location is perfect for skiing. Short walk (5 minutes) and you are on the lift. For those that don't ski the lodge is beautiful and Ketchum is a short drive to a great downtown filled with shops, bars and restaurants. This property is exactly what was promised and exceeded our expectations. We will be back!

Summary: The pictures DO NOT do this place justice-I should send some of ours to post! Gorgeous flowers outside, big screen tv on the patio and the river literally right in your back yard. Much bigger than I was expecting...and bathrooms for everyone! The location cannot be beat-it is at the end of the street with just one other house, perfect for our 7 year old to ride his bike. Just steps away at the Hot Water Inn-they had live music on Saturday and Sunday-what a fun addition-ended by 10pm so did not disturb our older guests. Owner was fantastic, very attentive-responded right away. A couple of tiny things that I might mention... Patio out front is great, but could use a few more chairs for the large group that the house can accommodate. Hot tub never warmed up-we called and owner turned it up, but it still never got very warm. And lastly, I get that this place is huge and with people coming in and out it has got to be hard to maintain-I just feel like the whole place could have used a bit of a deep cleaning. Garbage cans were sticky, shower curtains had mildew and blankets were a bit worn. All that being said...we still LOVED it and hope to visit again soon!

Summary: We just returned from a wonderful stay in this amazing home. We had seven couples who spent the weekend and there was still space for more if we had needed it. The kitchen is fully equipped. We brought our own food...pots, pans, dishes, flatware....it's already there. There are multiple decks, balconies and even a sun room, each with a beautiful view. The mountain is just outside the huge front windows. It is truly breathtaking! The owners were extremely kind and responsive to questions or concerns and anything we needed was just a simple text away. The lodge is a very short walk from the house, as is plenty of street parking and the ski village. The hot tub is huge and ready to soak your achy bones after a long day of skiing, biking, hiking or exploring the idyllic town's antique shops and market. The bedrooms are spacious and have soft, comfy beds...so much better than a hotel. It really is a great place, perfect for family getaways or groups of friends. We will definitely be back.

Summary: Our group had an amazing time staying here. We loved the proximity to the lifts and bus stop. The house was big enough to accommodate our large group and give everyone some privacy. We will definitely be looking to stay here in the future.

Summary: I am not sure where to start... I think that my title says it all. My friends and I plan a winter trip each year and out of the 7 years of doing this so far, this has been the best house that we have ever stayed at. We are group of 10 to 15 people (13 this year) and this house had plenty of room, with room to spare. The kitchen was enormous, with two of pretty much everything that we would need (sinks, ovens, dishwashers, etc.). The kitchen table was large enough to seat pretty much all of us at one time. There was a large TV in the main living area and many others scattered throughout the many bedrooms. The third floor also had a game room in which our group definitely utilized throughout the week. The property manager, was also very helpful with anything that we needed or if we had any questions about the property or the area. Once we left the house to go skiing and boarding, we were only a short 3 minute walk to the lifts. We have never had a place so close to the lifts before... we felt so spoiled. Plus, since there was so much snow during our trip, we could ski directly back to the house from the slopes... Awesome! This made it great to stop on in for lunch during a full day of skiing. Once we returned at the end of the day... hot tub time! We wanted to go into town a couple of nights during our week there, so we decided to try the bus system instead of driving into town. What a great system... the buses were always on time and we picked up a bus at the lodge where we got on ski lifts (3 min walk). The ride into town was only 15 minutes. This was great for us, because no one had to drink and drive. Overall, everyone in our group had a really great time at the resort and in this house. I would recommend this property to anyone, especially large groups. If our group returns to Sun Valley in the future, we would definitely stay here again.

Summary: our group of 10 loved the scorpion lodge. We felt like we could have invited 10 more people and still have been comfortable. very spacious in every way and just a very short walk to the lifts. We would definitely rent this home again !!
