This beautiful Provencal farmhouse fully air-conditioned with heated pool and petanque for 10 people is unique in Sanary-sur-Mer.
The house is located in the heart of an exceptional estate of more than one hectare dedicated to the production of lily of the valley under greenhouse in April and the cultivation of more than 250 citrus and olive trees. Located near the beginning of the terroir of Bandol wines, between land and sea, you can walk to taste the excellent Terrebrune a few meters from the house.
Built in the shelter of all the prevailing winds, the house in its green setting dominates the valley planted with olive trees, cypresses and vineyards as far as the eye can see. Warm, comfortable and spacious, it offers a very pleasant living space.
You will find rest, calm, beauty and serenity and flowers in abundance.
Games of petanque in perspective followed by aperitifs under the arbor await you throughout the year . The heated pool off season allows you to relax and enjoy the beautiful days in spring and autumn. Naps on rocking flesh under the umbrella pine accompanied by the song of cicadas in summer .
Located 4 km from the port of Sanary-sur-Mer lively all year round: fish markets, fruit, seasonal vegetables, flowers, local products but also shopping, flea markets, exhibitions, cinema, theater, outdoor concerts .

Summary: Bénédicte and her family welcomed us warmly to their family home on our first evening even though we arrived late. It’s a bit tough to find at first, especially at night and do not trust Google maps to get you there. Suggest reaching out for directions from the (lovely and highly recommended) neighboring Domaine de Terrebrune vineyard and restaurant. The property itself is a restored farmhouse dating from nearly 200 years ago and retains that character throughout. The pool and grounds are great with palm and cypress trees, lavender, a lemon tree and bountiful grape vines overhanging the porch. There are many different living and dining room areas all very tastefully decorated plus a grill and piano for entertaining. Additionally, the property offers many practical amenities like a washing machine, air conditioning in the bedrooms, dishwasher and internet - all serviceable. I’m not giving five stars because of the location and to emphasize the rustic nature of the property including the bugs in the summer (despite keeping the windows and doors closed the mosquitoes found their way to everyone in bed at night). The property is beautiful but is situated directly above some near-industrial sized greenhouses, which detracts from an otherwise spectacular view. Lastly, and this again is captured in “rustic”, the location felt a bit more isolated to get to some of the more compelling parts of the Côte d’Azur, namely nice beaches. I’ve spent a few weeks on multiple trips to the south of France and I’d say this location felt like the most work driving around.
