Positive: The location was excellent for our needs. The back deck and grill were nice amenities, but the screened porch could have used a sweeping/dusting
Negative: The internet/wifi/TV service didn’t work. The help desk phone rep was unable to help get online, but said a local rep would be in touch. However, we never heard from anyone.
Summary: We had a nice, comfortable stay. If the Internet/wifi service could be assured of working, we’d consider rebooking

Positive: Beautiful, comfortable, clean log cabin in a fantastic location.
Negative: No Internet connection in house though, so no tv through property's device. The wifi network in the house was working, but there was no Internet service (orange light on Xfinity router/gateway so no network traffic routing to Internet). I got tired of trying to explain to the property management personnel that a working local wifi connection did not equate to working Internet service, so gave up trying.
Summary: Nice stay at beautiful property and setting.

Positive: The main living area and the upstairs bedroom were very comfortable. The entryway and 2 bedrooms downstairs were a bit tight. Having 6 people down stairs and a dog would have been hard.
Negative: The kitchen was totally unorganized. Glasses, pans, cookware, spices were not organized. The dishwasher only cleaned the dishes on heavy duty mode. Wish I had know so I didn't have to hand wash some. The makeshift coffee maker needed directions. I finally figured out how to use it without having to hold the pot to where the coffee was coming out. The toaster oven was not in good shape. All the kitchen issues could be fixed easily. I think they just needed some feedback. Only being able to have 2 cars there, when there is room for more, would have been tough if we had 8 people there.
Summary: A comfortable place to stay for 6 people.

Positive: Woodsy location very cute town and easy to locate in daylight. Felt away from it all. 20 minutes to Dartmouth! One TV- but no local live stations. Could not watch ESPN. Comfortable king bed upstairs with nice bath! Nice dishes— beautiful table and lanai and deck. Clean- no issues at all! Close to market in town that has nice but pricey options!
Negative: 1. No guest book with instructions or recommendations 2. Unable to contact owner with questions 3. Requires lots stairs 4. Only one board game 5. Old stove 6. Additional bedrooms in darker part of downstairs cabin 7. Minimal spices and pantry staples This VRBO is very nice in safe area and cute! But they don’t try too hard to make it extra special.

Positive: The property was quirky but nice. The log construction is beautiful and would have been great for a smaller group (I’d say six people, max). Our experience was not great, but I think that was more the fault of Vacasa than the house itself. The cabin boasted a very nice king-size bed / bathroom suite upstairs, plus two somewhat cramped bedrooms downstairs. Given the tight space, two of our group of eight ended up sleeping on the floor.
Negative: Despite being advertised as “air conditioned,” there was only one window A/C unit in the upstairs bedroom, which left the rest of the interior swelteringly hot in July. I was also frustrated with the incessant messages from Vacasa before, during, and after our visit asking me to sign an additional contract, sending me links to various surveys, and offering additional services. Meanwhile, when I reached out to report a lack of internet upon arrival (not Vacasa’s fault), I inadvertently launched a multi-hour series of text-blasts from various numbers telling me they were routing my request from Portland, OR to a local partner to an assigned representative, etc., all thanking me for my patience and reminding me about their surveys. In retrospect, I shouldn't have said anything and just enjoyed the peace and quiet. The not-so-relaxing experience reinforced my initial negative reaction to their flat-out denial of my request to arrive one hour early (at 3pm instead of 4pm) and was reinforced again by their multiple email and text invitations for me to request a late check-out... only to learn when I did so that it would come at an additional cost. The whole thing just felt slimy and corporate-in-a-bad-way.
Summary: Nice cabin, but poor management.
