Positive: Whilst this corner of Germany might not be an obvious holiday destination for the family (family of 4; 2 teens), it proved a great base for a “lakes, mountains and cities” across Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Markdorf is a great little town, with everything you need - supermarket, couple of good restaurants and a decent coffee shop. The property itself is really well-equipped and spacious - both teens happy with separate rooms and king-size beds.
Negative: Only a couple of very minor inconveniences - could have done with slightly better lighting in the bathrooms; a broom / dustpan and brush would have been handy just to sweep up crumbs after breakfast; a few additional kitchen essentials such as salt, pepper, olive oil, oven gloves, tea towel. But, as I said, very minor inconveniences and did not at all detract from a fantastic holiday

Positive: Great for a large group. We were 7 people and could comfortably use the apartment, and slept well.
Negative: The check out time was a bit too early at 10:00, which I understand for the cleaning purpose but keeping 11:00 is more natural. Also, a small point about cleaning that one of the towels was wet, probably dirty from previous guests. This has slipped from cleaning staff’s hands.
Summary: Amazing value per stay for large groups, great location when having a car.

Positive: Very nice apartment. Kids loved jumping on the Trampolin, play monopoly, build tunnels in a huge room with pillows downstairs, play pool and go to the playground. It was a lot to explore under 30 mins drive. We enjoyed massage chair.
Summary: Nice apartments with a lot to do for kids.

Positive: Very comfortable beds and beautiful decor. Just a few minutes walk from town, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. it’s a lovely storybook feel off the beaten path we felt like we were immersed in the German culture.
Negative: The only thing we did not love was no air-conditioning, but that’s because we’re Americans and we’re not used to it! Otherwise, it was a perfect stay.
Summary: Beautiful while appointed loved the massage chair and the beds are very comfortable.
