This beautiful wooden chalet for a maximum of 10 people is located in a family-friendly chalet village on a sunny slope, surrounded by beautiful mountains in the middle of the Hohentauern area at an altitude of 1250 meters.
The chalet is fully equipped, has an open living area with a sofa bed, a modern fully equipped kitchen, a total of 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a large wooden terrace, a sauna and offers plenty of space for a pleasant stay. You can park directly at the chalet.
The ski lift to the well-known and traditional family ski area Ski Hohentauern with 11 kilometers of slopes is only a maximum of 200m away and various hiking trails are right on the doorstep. In every season, the chalet and the immediate surroundings offer you and your family the opportunity to enjoy an active and relaxing holiday.
Summer is best known for the many lakes, thermal baths and the impressive Hohe Tauern mountain range. The more than 200 days of sunshine per year and the snow-sure ski area make this area a perfect holiday region at any time of the year.

Summary: Ganz tolles Chalet für 2 Familien! Sehr sauber! Sehr gemütlich! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Summary: Das Haus ist großzügig geschnitten und bietet viel Platz. Es ist angenehm warm durch den Gaskamin und die Verwalter super erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Allerdings ist es nicht ganz so sauber wie man es für den stolzen Preis erwartet. Einige Möbel und der Holzboden auf der Terrasse sind eher eine Unfallgefahr. Insgesamt müsste einiges mal renoviert werden. Saunafenster schließt nicht richtig und die „Erlebnisdusche“ war wahrscheinlich vor 20 Jahren mal klasse und funktionstüchtig. Es ist extrem hellhörig und es knarrt an allen Ecken und Enden. Wir würden nicht mehr in diesem Haus Urlaub machen.

Summary: Haben diese Hütte zum 2.mal gebucht und war wieder ganz toll. Wir sind eine Großfamilie (11 Personen) 6 Erw. u. 5 Kinder und dafür ist das Platzangebot sicher ausreichend. Speziell der Wintergarten als Spielraum ist ein Hit! Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht, ausser ein Wischtuch, falls mal das Bad schwimmt(Kinder-Wirlschaumbad) Also immer wieder gerne! 👍😘

Summary: Das Almdorf selber ist sehr empfehlenswert. Das Chalet leider nicht. Der Eigentümer scheint sich überhaupt nicht darum zu kümmern und das selbst bei sicherheitsrelevanten Dingen. Lose Brüstung, lose Fliesen, zerbrochene Platten auf der Terrasse, kaputtes Fenster in der Sauna, rausstehende Schraubenspitzen und die Bäder sind definitiv renovierungsbedürftig. Sehr schade hätte so viel Potenzial.

Summary: Eine tolle Hütte! Ideal für unsere Großfamilie, besonders der große Wintergarten mit einen Traumausblick war als Spielzimmer eine Wucht. Zimmer- Einteilung, Sauna und Riesenterasse machten den Hüttenurlaub sehr entspannend. Einzig beim Geschirr, bzw. Gläser müsste einmal aufgeforstet werden. empfehlendswert, wir waren 6 Erwachsene und 5 Kinder (6,5,3,1J.u.5mon.)

Summary: Mooi ruim chalet op schitterende locatie. Het chalet ligt in een kleinschalig park op ca. 1300 meter hoogte. Je kunt direct vanuit het park al richting de Keltenberg wandelen, waar een aantal leuke wandelingen zijn uitgestippeld. Het chalet is ruim genoeg voor 5 personen en van alle gemakken voorzien. Wij hebben direct de eerste dag de Steiermark Card gekocht, waarmee we in de omgeving na een eenmalige investering vrijwel overal vrij in konden. Bij huur van het chalet krijg je ook de Mural Card / Hohentauern Karte, waarmee je korting krijgt bij een aantal ondernemingen in de omgeving. Bij aankomst wordt je gastvrij ontvangen door de eigenaren van Hotel Passhöhe, hier kun je ook dagelijks verse broodjes krijgen en als er wat is helpen ze je graag. We hebben hier ook twee keer uitstekend gegeten. Het enige aandachtspunt dat we naar voren willen brengen, is de beperkte hoeveelheid glazen en het ontbreken van een theepot. Er zijn voldoende pannen (als je voor 5 personen kookt), ook is er een prima oven en een (niet-gebruikte) magnetron. Daarnaast vonden we in de keukenkastjes nog etenswaren van vorige bewoners, sommige zaken waren al een poosje over datum. Dit hadden ze even bij de schoonmaak mee mogen nemen verder was alles schoon. Maar al met al een zeer positieve ervaring, het huis is een prettige uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes door het mooie Steiermark.
