Summary: The host was very nice and accommodating. The bed was lovely and comfortable in a spacious room off the main house. It was within a 5 minute walk of the town.

Summary: A wonderful stay at a historic country house. It was appropriately decorated for it's period. Very attentive and welcoming staff, from it's owner, John, to the bartender and waitstaff at breakfast.

Summary: Overall everything was acceptable except for the so called restaurant Choice of menu was limited & the prices were much too high: small chicken pie, lettuce leaves & 3 slices of tomato 22 euro: 4 small pieces of wheaten bread,3.50 euro & worst of all a cup of hot water 3.50 euro! Breakfast was good & the staff were lovely The decor was rather dated but probably in keeping with the age of the property
