Summary: Great communication by owner. We enjoyed our stay in this spacious rustic house laid out so everyone has some space to spread out. Very secluded. Wonderful snowy weekend. Easy access to Houghton. We felt relaxed after splitting some wood and spending some time in the sauna, complete with running barefoot into the snow. Would recommend this listing to others!!

Summary: Group of extended family and friends gathered outside Houghton to visit Michigan Tech kids. Lovely winter setting, spacious for all of us. Got a lot of use out of the sauna and appreciated all of the bedrooms. This home could use a few more supplies, in the kitchen especially. We had a bit of a struggle with having enough warm water, but communication with the owner was quick to try to address it. Bit of a drive into Houghton, but if you’re looking for a beautiful winter getaway, this house is for you.
