Positive: The room was comfortable and the water Park had plenty to keep the kids busy. It had a snack bar inside as well. There’s an arcade, too. The whole place is convenient for traveling with little kids. If you live in the Twin Cities, it’s great for a staycation. Cons were it’s pretty loud, lots of kids stomping around, but that’s to be expected in a place that has a water park. Also, it was a little dingy/shabby in high traffic areas and looked a little beat up. Again, lots of kids running around so, for the price it was a great place to stay for a couple of nights.

Positive: The waterpark was the main attraction for us this weekend, the food in the waterpark was good, but spendy which is normal. the room was decent size. waterpark was nice if you got there early, and I mean standing outside the waterpark down at 9 am and standing there for an hour just to make sure you got a table to put your stuff at or even a chair. if you placed trash in the hallway, it was normally cleaned up in a timely manner.
Negative: waterpark could open at 9 instead of 10 or open at 10 and close at 10 instead of 9. also, I sent a request that I would like to check in between 3 and 4 because check in was at 4 and I didn't even get a response from the hotel but when I go to the hotel and 3:30 I believe I was able to check in, but a response would have been nice. also was only given 4 waterpark band even though I booked for 5 people, and they told me I would need to pay for the 5th band. I shouldn't have to purchase another band unless it is stated in your listing. also, the only email I received from the hotel was telling me that the pool may not be open during our stay. I replied to the email, and they didn't response either. also didn't say that breakfast was in additional charge when booking just says that it is available. Friday night early Saturday Moring at 3am the fire alarm was going off which was a false alarm., then it went off 2 more times before 8:30 am all of the alarms were false. so, my three children where all tired and cranky. Has 2 elevators but only had one operation during the 3 night I stayed except on Saturday they had both working. not a single clock in the room unless you looked at your phone or had the TV on. Lots of children running up and down the halls. I know my children did this, but it wasn't after 9:30pm. or before 7:30am Wi-Fi work sometimes, but every time I Left the hotel I had to resign in as a guest.

Negative: The waterpark and the “breakfast buffet”. I don’t usually write reviews but I feel like I should review this for other families. We paid $250 to stay one night. The waterpark has dumb rules like no outside food or beverages, I was okay with throwing my just opened water bottle away until I got inside and saw that they sold food and beverages. I can support a rule if it’s to keep a facility clean and safe but not if it’s to force me to buy water from their concessions. They also ran out of towels in the waterpark. Here’s the most IMPORTANT negative part of our experience, the air temperature in the waterpark was very cold…vents were blowing cold air constantly. I was cold and my kids were cold and didn’t want to stay long. They do not allow kids in the hot tub, so there was no way to warm up. A bunch of kids had their feet in the water and they made them take them out. The final straw was when they called a safety break and everyone stood around and shivered. We decided to go back to our room, where we didn’t have any hot water. They had to come and fix it. They also gave us 3 towels for five people and when I asked for more regular towels, they were out. It may seem small and I’m sure it came down to not having laundry staff but it made our life miserable because cold kids and unhappy kids. Lastly, breakfast is not included. So we paid for the breakfast buffet. However, that was a mistake. The buffet was the same as a typical continental breakfast with bad biscuits and gravy and make your own waffles. They were out of a lot of option, so it was not worth the money. Overall, the stay should have been about half the price given the quality. You do not pay that amount for a nice hotel when you’re taking your kids to a waterpark, you pay for the waterpark and the kids to have a good time.
