Positive: Wyndham Lambert Beach is a 45 minute plane ride from Puerto Rico. To cover all the bases, we began the trip in air and ended by sea looking for a boat rental in Nanny Cay. The island is known for its breathtaking landscapes, and of course, incredible beaches. Our home was a cozy pool side studio, located approximately 8 minutes south of the restaurant. We resourced Front desk’s assistance to navigate through the island by renting a SUV or a motor scooter, but do yourself a favor and get the SUV or a regular car, as they recommended due to the road conditions.
Negative: It will be great to add Aqua Sports Rentals.

Positive: Great staff (on a whole- see below), exceptional bed, room, facilities and location. It was a wonderful stay
Negative: Water pressure on the shower wasn’t great, bar staff on the Saturday evening were pretty cold to interact with and seemed flustered and overwhelmed when it wasn’t that busy at the bar.

Positive: The room was updated and clean with a very nice clean shower. This was the 4th hotel on this trip and it was by far the best.
Negative: The grounds. This property is on an incredible beautiful beach and it is blocked by overgrown trees, bushes and weedy grass. The sewer gasses around the 8 9 10 buildings were horrible. The food at the restaurant was just ok given there isn’t any where else to eat that was disappointing.

Negative: Broken beach sunbeds spoilt the beach ambience. Why were they just left to rot on what is a beautiful beach? Why no proper sunbeds other than the insufficient number of cabanas on the threshold of the beach? No regular beach check. We picked up litter around the trees and around the restaurant. Whilst the room we occupied had been refurbished it was poorly designed: - The door to the bathroom hit the toilet on opening. - the towel/robe hooks were too close to the large (and probably unnecessary storage unit) in the bathroom. - a couple of hooks would have been helpful on the bathroom door? - nowhere to hang damp swimming gear/ beach towels. - The lights over the bed are too bright to use as reading lights. - an electrical socket would be helpful next to the full length mirror. - Teabags were supplied but no means of heating water to make it. We had to request a kettle and the restaurant offered us some milk in a plastic cup (a proper small jug would have been nicer). - No glasses in the room for teeth rinsing or drinking. - 2 coffee pods for a 4 night stay felt a bit mean. The domestic staff were friendly and helpful. However, the same couldn’t be said about some members of the waiting staff. We felt intimidated by a couple of surly waitresses and also felt pressured to give an additional tip (on two occasions) to one particular member of staff. 15%service is, in our opinion more than enough and anything in addition should be earned and in our opinion none of the staff particularly warranted additional tips.
