Positive: Good value for the money, considerably quiet neighbourhood (for those who enjoy sleeping in silence is important). Kitchen well equipped, and the host left fruits and beverages which was nice. You can see Etna through one of the balconies.
Negative: Not the cleanest place, especially the floor since white socks turned black really fast. The shower needs extra cleaning too. It would be a lot easier if the hosts would understand and speak at least several words in english 🙂
Summary: Good value for the money, nice neighbourhood, everything you need!

Positive: First and foremost, we want to highlight the exceptional hospitality of the accommodation hosts who warmly welcomed us and escorted us to our apartment. They remained easily reachable throughout our stay, ensuring our comfort and readily assisting with any needs, from arranging taxis to helping with city center parking. Remarkably, they even provided transportation back to our accommodation after we returned our rental car a day before departure. While the apartment is slightly removed from the city center, it boasts convenient proximity to several supermarkets and the airport. However, privacy seekers should note that two bedrooms may not be completely soundproofed. The apartment itself is well-appointed, featuring a kitchen equipped with all necessary cooking amenities. It also has two terraces which offer stunning views - one of Mount Etna and the other of the port.

Positive: Very friendly and helpfull owner, communication comfortable per WhatsApp. The equipment of the apartment exactly as I needed, including a washing machine and a large refrigerator. There are two large terraces with a beautiful view, on one side you can see the sea in the distance, on the other side a good view of Etna (in my time there was an eruption). There is a good and cheap cafe nearby where you can have breakfast every day of the week. The apartment is in a quiet location, but a 3-minute walk to the bus, or a 15-20 minute walk to the city center. 3 minutes away is Lidl, Eurospin, MD, right next to a differnet cafes, hairdresser... There is a highway entrance right next to it, even in the morning rush hour there is no waiting. Parking at the house in a protected place.

Positive: The host is very friendly and polite. The apartment was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Very nice views from the two balcony the apartment has. Really appreciated the complementary snacks the host left us. Definitely recommend it
