Summary: Clean; Modern; Great Location; We visited from Texas for only one night and this was by far better than any hotel or rental we stayed at during our 11 day vacation. I wish we had more places like this in the States!

Summary: This property is exactly as advertised. We were delighted that it turned out to just be steps from one of the metro stations, which made going into Nuremberg from the house very easy. Also, there are three good grocery stores within a 5 minute walk from the house. In addition we found a very good Greek restaurant and a good sushi restaurant that were close to the house. The house itself is very well equipped and had adequate bedrooms and beds for our family of seven (5 adults and 2 children ages 9 and 12). I have heard of but never seen a washer/dryer combined into one unit. It worked quite well, but is small and could only handle small loads. If you use a setting that only washes there is not an option to dry only, so it's important to use a setting that washes and drys. The owner, when asked about this, offered to let us use the dryer in the building behind the house that has a washer and dryer in its basement. We were also fortunate that the weather was mild while we were there in mid-June because the house does not have air conditioning. The windows do open in two directions, which allows the windows to be left open without worrying about someone climbing through. We had a nice breeze that made the house comfortable at all times. There are also blackout shades controlled electronically that provide privacy, when needed. The house has been renovated recently and is very comfortable with a nice dining room table and enough chairs so all of our family could eat together.
