3 Bedroom House in Claysburg

2100 Sq Ft A- frame located at Blue Knob ski area. House sits on Golf course hole #8. 5 minute drive to the lifts at the top of the mountain. I also just installed a Nema 1450 outlet for EV charging.
Newly furnished with 1 king, 3 queens and 2 sets of full on bottom twin on top bunk beds. PLEASE NOTE you will need to bring your own bed sheets and pillow cases.
We have 4 flat screen TV's that are 4K Smart TV’s
The main sitting area also has a gas fireplace and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the golf course.
The finished basement has a flat screen TV with Xbox. Please bring your own Xbox games.
Kitchen is fully equipped with multiple appliances , and cookware to cook large meals. We also have a K-Cup coffee maker.
Blue Knob Ski Area offer the highest elevation ski area in PA as well as the highest vertical and longest runs in PA.
The ski resort was just purchased by new owners this past summer and huge improvements are planned for their snow making systems as well as lodge.
The golf course also provides a wonderful place for morning or evening walks in spring, summer and fall and cross country skiing in the winter.
There is mountain biking and hiking that surrounds the golf course plus miles and miles of mountain biking and hiking in Blue Knob State Park 10 minutes away. (see attached screen shot from MTB project) Its also worth mentioning The Allegrippis Trail system which many consider to be the best MTB biking on the East Coast is 45 minutes away at Raystown Lake. Raystown Lake is also well known for its fishing.

Summary: The cabin was just as described. The location and amenities were top notch. We enjoyed time by the fire pit as well as several days at the pool and a round of golf. We ate lunch at the Blue Knob Bar and Grill. The food, atmosphere and people were all great. A shout out to John on his responsiveness. When we arrived there was very little firewood for the fire pit and even though it’s summer we still spend a lot of time outside and enjoy the fire. John had a truck load delivered and stacked for us! We could not have asked for better hospitality. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others as well. Thanks again for sharing your space with us.

Summary: The area is beautiful! We were able to relax on the porch, the pool is down the street, and the views from the top of the mountain are breathtaking. The owner was very responsive to any questions i had. Great vacation!

Summary: This property had everything we needed and is very comfortable. It is located in a very peaceful setting with views of trees, the golf course and some incredible sunrises on the back deck. We loved it. It was hard to leave. The owner responded very quickly to my questions. Thank you John!

Summary: The cabin was really nice....much nicer than I expected. Easy access to nearby hiking trails. John replied quickly to any questions/comments I had. I would definitely stay at this place again when I am vacationing in this area.

Summary: This was a beautiful house and our family had an incredible vacation. John (owner) was super helpful and replied very quickly to all questions. The place is perfect for a relaxing and family-oriented stay in the woods. We loved the ping pong table and had family tournaments. The porch was perfect for morning coffee and reading! Loved playing outdoors and it is super safe for our kids! Thank you so much John for lending your place to us!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay! Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for our family. We stayed for 2 weeks while our kids were at a wrestling camp nearby and it was so nice to have a full kitchen, room for our dog, and a nice place to relax at the end of the day! We even fit in some golf on the Blue Knob course. John was a great communicator too! We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: We had the best time at this cabin. The place was beautiful and the atmosphere was peaceful and serene. It had more than enough room for all of us and was super easy to get to. The owner, John was quick to answer any questions I had and was available if we needed him but everything was perfect and that was not necessary. We would love to return here.
