Summary: We had a great time; the sunset was amazing; it really is on an island!; we met nice other guests; it is a one room holiday flat; we stayed there with five persons; we used the existing gas barbecue and made some burgers; you need coffee powder!! In brief everything you would like to eat and drink you need to bring with you ; there was no direct Wifi (the neighbour kindly provided his access)

Summary: My three (young adult) kids and I stayed in the Yellow Cabin on Strawberry Island for a few days at the end of August 2023. We really enjoyed ourselves. As a houseboat, it was a delightfully unusual place to stay, and the sights and sounds in the harbour were fascinating and constantly changing. We saw plenty of fish and birds, and also witnessed float planes taking off multiple times. There was never a dull moment. The cabin itself was well equipped, and we were treated very well by the property manager, Pearl, and her daughter. We thoroughly enjoyed our boat rides to and from the mainland with them. The only advice I'd give a future guest who's visiting in the summer is, don't be stupid like me and leave the doors open. There are plenty of mosquitoes around and you'll spend the evening slapping and cursing. Overall, we had a great visit and would love to return.
