Imagine waking up every morning to the tranquil sounds of the river and fall asleep to the crackling campfire. On approximately 4 acres our river cabin overlooks the magnificent Delaware River in Sullivan County, New York.
Along with private hiking trails throughout the property, our cabin features 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, 3 fireplaces, and 2 decks surrounded by pure heaven. It is the perfect balance between nature and comfort; enjoy conveniences of high end amenities while in the backwoods of New York’s prestigious Catskill Mountains.. Flow effortlessly between the large kitchen, dining, & living Room with 3 sliding doors leading to an enormous exterior deck. While outdoors enjoy barbecuing, relaxing on the outside furniture, games on the manicured lawn and late night camp fires.
Our cabin is wheelchair accessible with a full bedroom and shower on the 1st floor, along with a front door entrance ramp.
Staying busy with local activities is easy, from Farmers Markets to Local Theater Performances to the newly acclaimed Beth Woods Performing Arts Center. Endless amounts of Eateries, Breweries and County Fairs. Bird Watching, Antiquing, Gift Shops, Natural Sanctuaries, Collectibles, Local Museums, Touring the Scenic Country Roads, Camping, Canoeing, Kayaking, Tubing, Whitewater Rafting, Boating, Horseback Riding, Mountain Biking, Hiking, skiing, Nature Walks, not to mention world renowned fishing makes Sullivan County perfect for everyone .
Located only 2 hours from NYC, our cabins are situated perfectly between Bethal Woods Performing Arts Center (15 mins), Villa Roma Ski and Snowboarding Mountain, (10 mins), Downtown Callicoon (5 mins), river tubing and kayaking tours (3-20 mins), Roscoe and Liberty (20 mins) Woodbury Commons Outlet (65 mins) and 90 miles to the Crossings Outlet Shopping in Tannersville, Pa.. and less Than 60 Miles to Mt. Poconos offering you endless activities and attractions.

Summary: The property and the home were great,beautiful view and beautiful area. It was my first time using Vrbo to rent a home and I wasn’t familiar with their policies but it all worked out well and I would recommend this property to anyone that would like to get away and fish and enjoy the woods

Summary: If you are looking to get away from the stress of everyday life, this place is for you. The property and house are absolutely beautiful and Tiffany is a great host. The views are downright breathtaking and I really enjoyed hiking around the property and stargazing on the spacious deck at night. If you are looking to get away for a while don’t hesitate to book this home, you won’t regret it.

Summary: It has a very nice views and easy to get location. There are a lot of places to explore and get closer to the nature. Everything was working, no problems staying for 5 nights.

Summary: This was a beautiful cabin for my family and I to stay at. We were in town for a wedding and this place worked out perfectly. It is quiet and secluded back in the woods, a perfect place to get away from it all. House had satellite WiFi which was perfect for our needs during our stay. You won’t be able to stream videos or play online games there, but for checking emails and social media posts, it was more than enough. Cell phone service was spotty in the house (have AT&T and Verizon) but out on the deck it worked great with the LTE service. But again, we were there to be away and relax so it was actually nice my phone wasn’t ringing off the hook. Only issue my family had was finding the house. GPS took us to where I am guessing the mail box would be, but when you turn off the main road towards Long Eddy Rd, the dirt road/driveway to the right is where the house is. Go down that road past the no trespassing sign and you will find the house. Host was great and easy to communicate with and gave great detailed responses to all of our questions. Made life very easy for my family and I. My mom said it was one of the best trips she has ever been on!

Summary: It was a very nice house and property with a beautiful view right on the river. The rooms and house were clean. The property itself was great. Really feels like you're in the wilderness with stargazing at night. There were hidden fees and misleading things. There was a 3K security deposit (which you can get $79 insurance for - extra fee) in addition to a 1.5K deposit which you can't get insurance for. Then the owner sent an email where you have to keep the place clean b/c the cleaning fee is for you not for the next person!? The final price will be included on VRBO b/f checkout (so as long as you double check you'll be fine), but not cool they way the owner did it (and VRBO shouldn't allow that and should calculate nightly price with all that included). There was some extra $350 fee for having one extra person (why should they care?), but there wasn't even enough blankets, toilet paper, garbage bags, soap, etc. To be fair to the owner, after we told them there wasn't enough blankets and washing machine issues, they brought more blankets and was did laundry for us daily (and delivered them folded). But a number of family members slept without blankets the first night. Kinda feel like we should get a refund for that night or for the extra person fee. I honestly think the owners want to make it good, but don't realize/know how to; like why would they not spend the $20 to make sure the bathrooms had hand/shower soap and toilet paper. We bought them and it wasn't the biggest deal, but just really annoying and not a good way to host (I wouldn't be surprised if they have them next time after this post). Random, but the staircase doesn't have a banister. It looks ok, but pay attention to that depending on the age of your kids. And it's well water which has funny smell but is healthy. There was no wifi (which to be fair it didn't say there was on the site), but then the owner sent email letting us know there's no wifi and that some major carriers have great reception. We had Verizon and AT&T and got nothing. The owner was being intentionally misleading. Depending on what you want from trip, that might be fine with you, but we had family members who weren't planning on leaving the house and we wouldn't have booked had we known. If they're going to host, they should spend the $50-100/mon for satellite internet. Overall the place is very nice and owners who want to give good experience, but don't know how to give it so well.
