Positive: Our experience at Zahr AlBun Villa was truly exceptional. The villa was beautifully authentic and perfectly located—peaceful yet close to everything we needed. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and full of charm. One of the highlights of our stay was the hospitality. The host was incredibly friendly and always available to answer any questions or help with anything we needed. Communication was easy and fast, which made us feel very well taken care of. There was also a dedicated staff member on-site who brought us breakfast every morning and ensured everything in the villa was in perfect order. It was such a nice touch and really added to the relaxing experience. We highly recommend Zahr AlBun Villa to anyone looking for a comfortable, authentic, and well-managed place to stay. We would definitely come back!

Positive: Amazing villa on the edge of the desert. Tushar and Mohammed were excellent hosts and the Villa was just what we were looking for. Being able to swim in the pool to cool off was so good and Tushar organised us dinner one night which fed us for 2 dinners and a lunch! Highly recommend staying here.

Positive: The villa was stunning — exactly as shown in the photos. It was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-designed, with a peaceful ambiance that made our stay truly relaxing. The private pool was a highlight, and the overall architecture and attention to detail gave the place a luxurious feel. What truly made the experience stand out, however, was the host. The owner was incredibly kind, respectful, and accommodating throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. His hospitality made a lasting impression and added a personal, welcoming touch to the entire visit.
Negative: There is very little to critique. If anything, a few additional kitchen amenities or written instructions for appliances would have been helpful. Other than that, everything exceeded expectations.

Positive: Really beautiful villa right at the start of Wahiba Sands it’s magical to wake up to the dunes around you and then chill in your private pool. The host is super kind and friendly and organised us a good value private tour of the dunes taking our direct wishes/plans and tailoring the afternoon to us. He could not do enough for us and made it a super hospitable stay. The house has two good bathrooms, a lovely living area and a stunning terrace with the roof terrace having dune views. It’s also close to the town centre where there is anything you could need from good coffee to supermarkets. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended.

Positive: We had an unforgettable experience here, like in a fairy tale from the Arabian Nights amidst the breathtaking desert dunes, we experienced genuine, warm hospitality. We checked into a villa that we were told was ours and were looked after by Tushar, who was invisible, very respectful of privacy and yet always there when we needed him. He explained that the owner of the house, Mohammed, had told him that it wasn't about money, the only important thing was that the guests were happy and that they were treated like family. The landlord, Mohammed himself, took us into the desert and treated us to a big dinner in the middle of the dunes, and when a sandstorm came up, Mohammed even conjured up an innovative shelter for us out of flying carpets. On the day of our departure, we were surprised by Mohammed and his children who visited us with presents, we experienced the great hospitality of Oman first hand and felt at home, and now, back home, we miss it very much.

Positive: This villa is the nicest place to stay in the area. Instead of staying in a tent camp in the desert, stay here with comfortable beds, a pool and Air Conditioning but still be steps away from the desert and do day excursions into the desert. Mohammed arranged all of our desert excursions at a better price than we would pay anywhere else. Mohammed was the best host. He invited us into his home for coffee and told us where to go experience the beginning of Eid. He provided us with breakfast and dinner daily that was delicious. We could not have had a better experience. Staying in this villa was the highlight of our trip to Oman!
