Positive: Great location if you are up for a hike - far away from the city, but right next to the cable car to Kasprowy Wierch and multiple trails leading to and around it. Because of that there are A LOT of hikers walking around all the time, so it's not really "calm" during the day. We liked the parking although it was paid and all the time we had to go to the reception to ask to open the gates. Breakfast was normal, nothing too fancy. We haven't tried the restaurant in the hotel, but there are other 2-3 options around. Everything else is farther away in the city. Nice that the aqua park is included in the stay, but we only went there once (you can enter it every day for up to 2h)
Negative: We got the attic room and it wasn't that great (not sure about the other rooms). It was pretty small, windows were few and the whole room just lacked comfort. Also no shampoo in the bathroom which was baffling. There were some stains on the carpet. Our stay wasn't cheap so I just don't feel that this was a good value - Zakopane must have more to offer.

Positive: The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was generous and reasonable. The location was perfect for hiking.
Negative: Some fruit would be appreciated at breakfast. The strong, unpleasant smell from the kitchen was in the rooms and corridors. Beware the astronomical cost of the cable car!!! Plan in advance.

Positive: The staff is very friendly and professional. Swimming at Termy in Zakopane is included (2hrs a day). And many mountain trails start right in front of the door. Although in daytime lots of people, but never disturbing. And at night it’s quiet.

Positive: Zajazd Gorski Kuznice is located in a perfect spot to enjoy the hikes in the Tatra Mountains! We were just a couple of minutes away from the trails and the Kasprowy Wierch cable car - the location couldn't be better! We didn't have to worry about parking, which can be an issue in Zakopane during the season. The rooms were very clean, and had the most comfortable beds.
Negative: There was quite a bit of light coming in from the outside stores and street lights at night, and the curtains provided in the room were thin and so tiny that they didn't even cover the window. It was very bright in the room at night. Some blackout curtains would be needed to fix this.
Summary: Perfect location to enjoy hiking in the Tatra Mountains

Positive: The girl at the front desk Gabriella was very helpful and nice, the room was clean and close to mountain lift plenty of parking. Surprised with the breakfast better than expected.
