Amazing home with a beautiful fenced-in outdoor space, multiple decks and balconies, and a relaxing Japanese garden.
Perfect location as it is five houses away from the sandy beach and only a short stroll to several restaurants and downtown Lewes.
Private parking for 6 cars. Driving? Optional!
Bring your dog along (limit: 1 dog under 50 lbs - must be housebroken, non-destructive, and please, no excessive barking. If your dog suffers from separation anxiety, please don't leave her behind – we have good relations with our neighbors, and we’d like to keep it that way.)
The Space:
The garden invites to explore. A swing and several loungers on the balconies lure to linger. Relax as the sun and moon rise and set. Listen to the chirping of the birds and the sound of the wind. Just sit and breathe. There will be many a ZEN moment to behold.
Three levels of living offer enough room to entertain and sleep 12 (1 King, 3 Queen beds, and 2 sets of Bunkbeds (single over single)). Each bedroom has its own TV, each bunk bed has a dedicated reading light and USB outlet for charging your electronic device.
The covered outdoor area offers a TV, a ping pong table, corn hole boards and other outdoor games, and several seating areas. A foot shower and the shower room come in handy when returning from the beach. - Please note: There are two full bathrooms (second and third level), one half bath (third level), and a seasonal indoor shower room (shower only!) on the ground level.
Indoors, the living room is equipped with a 75-inch 4K QLED TV and the family room with a 75-inch 8K QLED TV, perfect for gaming.
If reading is your thing, browse our collection and cuddle up in one of the many cozy places waiting for you.
If you prefer cooking or baking, the well-appointed gourmet kitchen with brand-new cook- and dinnerware is waiting for you, and so is the gas grill with dedicated gas line. With 8 bar stools around the counter, the kitchen offers plenty of seating. And a large dining area will welcome everyone to gather around the beautiful table to share a meal together, as elaborate or simple as you like.

With sandy beaches and soothing waves of the Bay almost at your doorstep, no need to drive or find parking. The walk to the beach is short and sweet, even with little people. The beach is perfect for relaxing, building castles, collecting shells, and more. A true gem for young and old and everyone in between. If you are looking for the surf of the ocean, Cape Henlopen State Park is less than 2 miles away, and it is free if you ride your bicycle in. If you have not yet explored Cape Henlopen, it should be on your bucket list! Especially in the mornings you have a good chance of watching dolphins swim by. It truly is one of our favorite places on Earth!

Summary: We Rented Zen Coastal to stay with both my children, their spouses, and our two grandsons, 3 and 7 months, for a family wedding. Directions for check in and check out were clear, and the home was VERY well appointed for a family stay. The kitchen was well stocked, and the bedrooms quiet and comfortable. I was unfamiliar with the linen rentals, but Anka connected me to a local firm that made the process easy and seamless. We loved the short walk to Lewes beach, only a block down a quiet street! We would definitely enjoy a longer stay during summer season, but really, Lewes had plenty to do over this mid-October weekend. Guests can't go wrong booking Zen Coastal!

Summary: Our family ranges from 10 years old to late 70's and we all had something to do in this lovely home. We enjoyed the beach and the local area. We are a family that loves to cook together and this house had the perfect kitchen for us; spacious and very well-equipped. Everyone was happy that we chose to stay at Zen Coastal.

Summary: Zen Coastal is a wonderful property in a great location in Lewes. Easy walk to the beach and into town. The property was as advertised and had more than all we needed to have a great week. Anka, the host, was easy to communicate with and answered all questions promptly. The Ping Pong table was a big hit with our crew! Would definitely stay at Zen Coastal in the future.

Summary: Amazing home and host! Anka really made us feel welcome to her home. She quickly responded to our texts to help us get acclimated. The house is spacious and beautifully furnished with coastal decor throughout. The kitchen was truly gourmet with high end everything. Also well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, serving dishes, spices... The house was wonderful and had so many spaces to interact all together or you could easily find your own Zen space with multiple sunrooms and decks. We brought our dog and Anka left a water bowl out for Rex. We appreciated all the initial paper goods throughout the house taking pressure of the initial shopping run. We made use of the freight elevator to assist with getting our bags to the third floor. This was our third trip to Lewes and by far this was the best location. Zen Coastal is in the perfect location close to the beach and a short walk to town.

Summary: Excellent property in a truly convenient location to the beach, restaurants, and shops. What I enjoyed the most were the decks/porches. I had choices to be in or out of the sun or wind with comfortable seating options. Very peaceful environment.

Summary: We loved our week in Lewes. The location of the house was a short walk to the beach. We liked how private the house was even though there were houses on both sides. The house was very comfortable, accommodating, and spacious. We were very happy to have the use of beach chairs and beach wagon.

Summary: I can’t say enough about our stay at the Zen Coastal in Lewes! The house was everything and more than pictured in the photos! The house was immaculate and extremely well taken care of. The layout perfectly suited our party of six ( plus a one year old ) with room to spare. The host was so accommodating and responded quickly to every request! Our favorite part was the proximity to the beach access, allowing trips back and forth during the day with ease! We made meals each night in the stunning kitchen and enjoyed each others company while cooking! We cannot wait to return to this stunning home and town with all it has to offer! Thank you Zen Coastal
