Positive: Staff excellent! Cleaning staff excellent! Location on danforth bustling, many shops, stores, bars, halls, restaurants and metro all easily accessible Very affordable hub for solo traveller as long as one does treat as a hotel!
Negative: 1) Lockers were accesible in only one guest room, thusly had to enter into someone elses room at any point of day. Consciousness guests arent issue. Suggestion: centralize lockers to common area; 2) both guest rooms need their own keys as found guests from other room; 3) the one and only big tv should be in common room for all doesnt make any logistical sense to have a person in double bunkbed room to monopolize

Positive: Good place , very cheap! Right accross from Subway in downtown Toronto. Bed was comfortable with blackout curtains. The cleaning lady was very nice and helpful. Great place if you are on a budget!

Positive: I stayed for one night. It was very good value for money. All the people met there were friendly. There were small lockers to use own padlocks on and other shelves/cupboard to put item away. Towel included. Access to kitchen. It is in a very good location on a street with many as my places to eat and street entertainment. Public transport links are good. The property details state 4 beds when it is 4 bunk beds , plus manager sleeping in a bed in the living room. There was one combined shower toilet for everyone which could cause queues though did not impact me.
Negative: I stayed in the bed with a tent over it. I woke up about 5am and then found bed bugs crawling over my bed. I left before anyone else was awake so could not report it then. I did not feel a bite/itching at the time…the itching started during my flight to London and became agony as it turned out I had hundreds of bites on my arms and legs. Some people do not even notice the bites but I am one who was allergic and had to use creams and anti histamines. Weeks later I still have marks. I messaged the property multiple times, nit expressing any anger but just to inform them of a problem. I do not think it is to e fault of a property to get bed bugs as they are easy to transport and am only mentioning this as I have waited weeks and not even received an acknowledgment of my message. I looked at reviews and saw mentions of bugs prior to my visit. The rooms are so cluttered that it would be impossible to eradicate bugs while still having guests thus I think it is known about and ongoing; probably the tent on that bed is some type of attempt to contain the bugs to that bed.
