Positive: The villa with swimming pool is superb. The apartment we booked is huge, comfortable and well equipped. Hot and cold water supply is uninterrupted, and the area is quiet and safe (I have general feeling that entire island is very safe place). Cleanness of the swimming pool's part of villa and the apartment is flawless, and it's being maintained daily. The part of the island with the villa is famous for its caldera (old volcano), and the view from the villa is magnificent and relaxing. There are several fine restaurants and one fairly good supermarket on a walking distance from the villa (15 minutes far).
Negative: The best beaches are a little far. However, even without renting the car they are reachable in less than hour via island's public transport.

Positive: We absolutely loved our stay in this house, set in a quiet village well away from the bustle of Fira. Choosing this area was key for us: we wanted calm, views, and easy access without the crowd. The location delivered on all three — peaceful and scenic, with a sweeping view of the caldera, yet everything we wanted to see was a short drive away. By car, villages, beaches, viewpoints, and great restaurants were all within easy reach, so we could explore Santorini at our own pace. Getting around the island was simple and stress-free with the car; nothing ever felt far. The property itself is beautiful and very well-maintained. The apartment is spacious, spotless, and incredibly quiet; nights were deeply restful and mornings started with that dazzling caldera blue outside. We made the most of the pool, which frames the view perfectly, and the jacuzzi facing the caldera quickly became our favorite ritual. After long days out, sinking into warm water and watching the sunset was simply magical. Nicole, the owner, was welcoming and discreet. She shared thoughtful tips that helped us find authentic spots and excellent local restaurants away from the busiest areas, then let us enjoy the place in complete tranquility. All in all, this is the ideal base for travelers who want the beauty of Santorini without the chaos of Fira: serene setting, outstanding views, and great convenience when you have a car. We left relaxed, grateful, and already planning a return. Highly recommended.

Positive: Outstanding villa with a gorgeous pool, incredible views and a wonderful host. Nicole met us with the keys and arranged for breakfast to be delivered everyday. She could not do enough for us. A cleaner also visited every day. The villa is in a less touristy part of the island which is what we wanted, but there are still a few cafes and a shop in walking distance.

Positive: Our family traveled to Santorini in July and could not wait to arrive at The Zen Villa. We booked this beautiful home back in the winter after looking for places to stay. Once we saw the photos of The Zen Villa, we absolutely loved it and knew this was the perfect place for our once-in-a-lifetime vacation. Our hostess, Nicole was beautiful inside and out! Upon our arrival, the home was filled with breakfast and lunch foods, including fresh fruits and wine. Our flight arrived later in the evening, but she was right there to meet us and even went into town to pick up pizzas for us for dinner. The home features breathtaking views and stunning sunsets. We enjoyed so much of Santorini by venturing out in our family-sized van (which Nicole helped us to get) and capturing magical moments and memories! We traveled around Akrotiri, visited Prophet Elias Monastery, continued onto Thera, and Oia - even discovering the famous scene of the three blue-domed churches. This was my third visit to Santorini and my most favorite! The Zen Villa was the perfect place for our family to enjoy and capture the beauty of this magical island.
