Positive: The location was really good and accessible.

Negative: There were clumps of hair on the bed under the pillow when I arrived. That was very concerning. I am not convinced the sheets were changed. I am glad I had my own blanket. The place was otherwise clean. The host is non-responsive, I needed to pay city tax in cash (on top of what I was already charged online), and I had waited for two weeks for an updated receipt after two requests with no answer.

Summary: Convenient location, otherwise do not recommend.

Positive: Everything was wonderful! The apartment is very cozy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent — really convenient and beautiful. The host was very kind, welcoming, and pleasant. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this apartment.

Positive: The location is close to the Vrijdagmarkt (parking) and many restaurants, bars, and cafés.

Negative: Cleanliness was an issue: there was blood on the bed sheet, garbage from previous tourists left in the room, and many (black) hairs on the towels and sheets. We also did not appreciate being contacted late in the evening, up to the middle of the night while being at a concert, about paying the tourist tax. We were hardly in the room and paid it at check-out. You never see someone. Next time, we would book a hotel.

Positive: The location was great, close to lots of restaurants and the bed was huge and very comfy. The shower although dark is a good size with lots of hot water.

Negative: The 'kitchen' had a ridiculously heavy lid that you had to remove everything from to use and then pull up a tap to get water, very unorthodox and a bit wonky. There are cleaning products though. There was no matching anything (cups, glasses etc) and the cups weren't clean! The tv didn't work, I suspect it was the batteries in the remote that were dented. Thankfully I wasn't there to watch tv. I had to chase the owner for access codes at 3pm on the day of arrival. The property has wooden floors so you can hear everyone in the building and unluckily for me I had upstairs neighbours who were up until 2am. The only light in the bathroom is around the mirror, which means that when you close the shower curtain the shower is dark! I used the first floor studio solo and don't think it would work for two people. Finally, the stairs are very steep and narrow. Which wasn't much fun with a small carry on case.

Summary: Comfy bed, good location, sadly wouldn't go back...

Positive: [EN] Superb little appartment, equipped with quality and taste. (+ ve points) * Very neat and clean. The welcome lady is adorable and very helpful. * Equiped with necessary things for cuisine, sleep, and comfort. * Interior is cozy and gives a vibe to stay. * So neat and clean, nothing to say about that. * the bed and the sofft bed both were so confortable. (Less +ve points) * The Fan provided (although good brand) didn't give much comfort in august summar night. * A bit tiny for 4 people. * Stairs are very conjusted but it is typical of the city. Overall it's an amazing place to stay whilr visiting Ghent (Gand). We recommend with pleasure.
