Positive: Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided and we were given a very warm welcome from the caretaker who would have acted as a tour guide if we had wanted one. The house is very spacious although sleeping was in the same large room as general living so everyone needs to go to sleep at the same time. There is a sauna and cold bath tub although we were only there for one night so didnt use it. The countryside nearby is beautiful and the very scenic town of Ine is 5 minutes by car.
Negative: Sleeping in the same room as the general living space was not ideal. We had to put the bed linen on to the duvet, pillow and futon.

Positive: We did not expect to get the whole property to ourself when booking! The house was spacious, clean and feel like home. We also get a private sauna room which help us relax after a long day. What I want to highlight the most is our host, Mr. Kurashi, who was super kind. He prepared futon beds and warm the room & sauna gor us prior to our arrival😊 He also took us for a mini tour around town and gave us access to great viewpoints. Don’t miss your chance to stay here, you will get such as warm and loving experience at Kurashi!

Positive: The property was just perfect. Great location and amazing facilities. The sauna we used every night! The property was amazing however Mr Okazaki really made our trip! Me and my friend stayed for 3 days. We spent every day with him. He showed us around the local areas and booked us in to restaurants every day and night. We insisted he came with us. We only left a couple hours ago and are already planning our trip back. If you want to enjoy this hidden gem away from the busy major cities in Japan I couldn’t recommend anymore.

Positive: The place is amazing, located in the middle of a small village in the Ine area, just 10 minutes by car (or less) from the river. Sleeping and waking up surrounded by nature in this spacious room felt incredibly peaceful. I slept deeply. It was a great stay — they have a sauna, which made it perfect for relaxing and enjoying the fresh air.
