Positive: A truly one-of-a-kind property—stunning in design and rich in authentic Japanese charm. You’ll want to stay at least two nights to fully enjoy it. Very spacious. Being right on the water is bliss.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Funaya Stay Ichi in Ine. The funaya (traditional boathouse) is lovely, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the traditional futon beds and the kotatsu table, which made the experience feel authentic and cozy. The boat garage by the sea is truly special. One of the most beautiful moments of our stay was when a boat stopped right by the funaya to pick us up for a ride around the bay — such a unique and unforgettable experience. The hostess was incredibly friendly and helpful, making everything easy and pleasant for us. A perfect place for a short stay in Ine — highly recommended!

Positive: I really enjoyed the cozy bedroom and the beautiful view from the balcony. The bath was very comfortable, and having a kitchen to use was a great bonus
Negative: The kitchen was a nice feature and had some tools provided, but a few more basic utensils and cutlery would make it easier and more enjoyable to use.
