Positive: We enjoyed the water park which is directly in front of the individul rooms. You also can rent for free kayaks and paddle boards. There is a free bamboo raft trip (towed by a motor boat and playing music) departing around 16:30. The breakfast was very good. The prices in the restaurant were favorable (especially drinks, e.g. large Chang beer 70 THB) and the food is brought to you directly on your private terrace/table (each room has its own). Very beatiful view from the terrace. Comfy beds. In early January only around 10-20 % occupancy - very quiet.
Negative: The resort is not clearly signoposted but Google maps show the right way. Private car is highly recommendable. The staff does not speak English nor Thai (i.e. Google Traslator did not work) which leads to communication difficulties. E.g. ordering "not spicy" food led to having very spicy dishes. The second day we tried "no chilli" which worked better. The staff brings the food for dinner to your private porch/table but the dirty dishes with remains were still present even next day afternoon attracting ants and crows - we brought it ourselves back to the kitchen. Some of the attractions in the water park need cleaning/renewal. Tip: having long sleeved T-shirts and potentially even long pants can avoid burns from friction or at least moisten well before sliding.

Positive: Awesome water park (was even further re-newed during our stay)! Great daily sun-set cruise. Nice floating room with direct access to the water park and dinner served at the room's patio. More than enough kajaks and most, modern SUPs are free for use. Kids (but also parents) enjoyed this stay a lot!!! Breakfast Buffet was good comprising Thai and Western elements. Great support to organize Trips by the owner of the place.
Negative: The location is scenic at the lake at the end of a dirt road. We visited without a rental - that needs a bit of organizing to visit Erawan NP and other nice sites around. There are mosquitoes, but it is OK.

Positive: We booked as foreigners for our teenage girls to enjoy their time. We booked three nights but two nights is enough. The cabins were very comfortable, aircon was good, bathroom was great and shampoo and soap provided, plus a hanger for clothes. We were waterfront next to the activities, life jackets provided. Activities were very fun. Breakfast was included and it was a buffet with various choices, nothing too overwhelming. Ice and waters provided daily. Activities included kayaking, board paddling and evening water rafting in the middle of the lake over a gorgeous sunset. We booked two double rooms but one is also enough as one double room has two king size beds, four people fit comfortably in one room. All in all a great stay.
Negative: No mini fridge, it was a bit remote up in the mountains and a bit hard to access. No shops nearby. There was a shop in the resort selling snacks but it was a bit pricey. Dinner was also a bit pricey but it was to be expected. We didn’t realise most people only come for one night so that may be why no fridge was provided. You have to wear long trousers and shirts to swim in the lake with the inflatables because otherwise you will get friction burn very easily. If you are a westerner used to only wearing the swing suit I would encourage you to dress up to avoid the friction burn. Some of the inflatables look like they need a bit more maintenance. But otherwise it was good
