Positive: The place is quite stylish and photogenic. It's a spacious room on the first floor of a two storey building. On the second floor there's a shop and, probably, the owner's apartment. The view from the panoramic window is really calming, as is the sound of the waves from the bay. The sleep here would have been pure bliss if it weren't for the national route that sits right between the house and the bay. It's not bad or too loud, but an occasional passing car or a bike can interrupt the contemplative mood that's quite easy to achieve in this scenic and quiet place. Looking at the map, obviously, the transportation is limited to a car/taxi or a bus. No monorail. Oura city is quite miniature and quiet by itself and this only adds to the peaceful atmosphere*. The facilities and amenities were good. There's a kitchen, some utensils and appliances if you decide to cook. Which you might, because the closest 24 hours store is about 20 minutes driving from the accommodation. Also, there's a coin laundry just outside the place. The house stands right on the edge of the jungle, which means that all the jungle inhabitants will be pretty close just about all the time. The geckos on the veranda were especially cute. But if you are not on the friendly terms with the various representatives of the insecta class or other classes, better have some insecticide and repellent at hand. Not a negative, but an expected characteristic of the place. FYI. Overall, great, hassle-free stay and an interesting experience.

Negative: For some reason I though that you rent the whole building, since the description says it fits 5 adults (and the price felt like it was the case), but in fact it was just the first floor apartment. But this could easily be solved with a message to the host and I was in a hurry to book. Therefore, not exactly the accommodation's issue.
