Summary: This room is so spacious and comfortable. We were steps from the beach and close to so much dining and fun. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We would definitely recommend this place and look forward to coming back!

Summary: Our flight was canceled due to weather so we had to drive. We had a 12 hour drive so we arrived after the 10 pm deadline….the hotel canceled our reservation without notifying us in any way. This was with me keeping the hotel informed of our flight cancellation and the fact that we would be later arriving but none of that was as noted. Took over an hour after being told there was no way to correct the issue, then offering us a 4 night stay instead of our 7 nights we had booked and paid in full….until they finally corrected the issue. That whole situation was a nightmare but other than that all other resort services were wonderful. Uncomfortable couch and a slide pictured no the website are 2 other small complaints I have but overall The Cove is a nice resort for the price.

Summary: 1 bedroom in north tower was newly renovated and very nice. With this being a property where each condo is not "owned" by an individual, you have no clue what room you will actually get until you check in. I understood that before I booked. I booked thru VRBO and requested a room above the 3rd floor as to avoid the pool slide view. Booked 5 weeks out from check-in so hoped the resort would make that possible. We were on the second floor, directly behind the pool slide (which was broken our entire stay) and our view of the ocean was completely obstructed. So, if that's an important detail for you, maybe not making the special request would be the better way to go. Got the feeling/Almost wonder if that's where we were put simply because I had a preference. Again, it's only a request not a guarantee (but that doesn't make the desire for it to be honored any less). The ceiling of our balcony looked as though it could fall in at any second and it was the first thing I seen when we pulled into the resort. Of course I thought, of all the rooms to choose from, surely that won't be our room... Well, we got that room even though there were very low odds. Anyway, great place for the price, clean room and grounds, pool is nice for the kids, they only sat out about 12-14 beach chairs, you do hear furniture move above you but it's usually when everyone is getting ready for bed and moving the coffee table so the sleeper sofa can be extended and only lasted a second (it's heavy furniture). "Angie" (one of the resort sell staff) changed her tone with us when I told her we were not interested in purchasing anything, we were only there for a short stay. We were not bothered with timeshare stuff any more during our stay. Again, the room itself was nicely decorated, fully equipped kitchen, nice gas grill area with 3 grills, nice pool deck and lounge chairs (even with a broken/closed slide). You can check out beach towels from the front and return when finished. You must sign them back in to avoid a $10 per towel fee. Peach Valley restaurant is 2 minutes away from resort and WONDERFUL!!!! We visited there for breakfast on our second morning. We wouldn't have made the IHOP mistake our first morning had we known this place was so great! Huge portions, reasonable/low prices, fresh!!!

Summary: This is an absolutely wonderful place for families. The hotel is spot on with customer service and very clean. I rented two rooms here, VRBO Numbers 680246 and 680469. Both rooms (North Tower) had a view of the beach which of course was right outside the back door of the hotel. We were there for a weekend family reunion. The pool was geared towards the children. They also had staff organized things to do for the children as well. Three of our grandchildren participated in the hoola hoop contest. As one of our grandchildren said, "if you win you win, if you loose you win too"! Win or loose they all received a treat from the staff for participating. Great place. Only downside....and it's not to bad, the elevators are slow as molasses, ugh! Other than that a great time was had by all. Thinking about going there for a week next summer. I highly recommend for families.
