This property is the perfect couple's retreat year round. Short drives to local state parks, the National Wildlife Refuge and the unique small towns of Davis and Thomas. This condo is the perfect home base for exploring wild, wonderful Tucker County.
Canaan Valley, truly the mid-Atlantics playground, is nestled in the scenic Hills of West Virginia, and boasts world-class skiing, snow shoeing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hunting and fishing, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, and golfing. With easy access to National Forest Lands, Wildlife Refuge, Wilderness areas, and two State Parks, explore the endless possibilities here. Tucker County has 4 breathtaking seasons to enjoy. In the winter, we pick up much of our annual 150 snowfall from the Great Lakes whenever strong Northwesterly winds drop out of Canada. Spring brings some of the best hunting and fishing, and wildflowers. Escape the heat of summer where temperatures rarely exceed the mid 80s. Autumn brings cool temperatures and blazing colors of our extensive hardwood forests.

Summary: Walk to slopes, cozy apartment, let's the dog come too! High quality appliances, utensils, kitchen tools, etc. Really super fun selection of VHS cassettes and cable! What more could you ask for? Maybe a few games in that table that doubles as a storage bin?

Summary: Perfect place to spend a quiet weekend in the summer. You can go walking around the ski area and get to everything you could need with a 15 minute drive! Your team was fantastic! We had a minor issue with the electric and they did offer to get an electrician out but we said it was fine. They also allowed us to check out at noon vs 1030 which was perfect.

Summary: Perfect place to get away for a weekend! In the winter it is probably full of people but in the off season it was quiet. You are close enough to main towns to get anything you may need. The place had everything we needed (linens, kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies, etc.).

Summary: Nicely decorated and close to hikes and Davis. Fridge and microwave didn’t work Toilet required extra water in tank to flush Left message and message was missed. As a result, no maintenance on first day. 2nd day refrigerator and microwave fixed, but toilet wasn’t. You need to take your trash when you leave to the Timberline dumpster, but we could not find it. We had to take our trash home with us. Was the perfect place for our weekend getaway if maintenance wasn’t a problem.

Summary: Nice stay for a hiking getaway with my husband. We hiked the Dolly Sods and Blackwater State Park, this was the perfect location to explore hiking trails in the area.

Summary: Perfect for two people. Well appointed kitchen. Comfortable bed. Lovely sliding glass door to small deck. Very convenient to Davis and Dolly Sods.
