Summary: We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at Barleycorn. The cottage is very spacious for 2 people and well equipped. The location on the farm is simply stunning. Very remote and so silent at nights. A bit of active farm life around is lovely. It's a great base for exploring Dorset and the hosts are wonderful and friendly and make some delicious honey! Summary: A very comfortable cottage on a working farm. A warm welcome from Sarah who was always keen to offer advice, if we needed it. The homemade Victoria Sandwich was delicious and the farm eggs were much appreciated. Although the weather was not fantastic we were able to get out and about every day.
