Offering spectacular views over rolling countryside to the Malvern Hills, this beautifully converted former chapel enjoys a peaceful, rural and isolated setting in delightfully named Much Marcle – boasting three village inns, a historic house and three cider makers including Westons. Adjoining the owners’ home, but not overlooked, it is set within their 2-acre grounds and enjoys shared use of their lovely garden. One small dog is also welcome at the property. It is equidistant from the popular ‘black and white’ market town of Ledbury and the water sports of Ross-on-Wye (both 6 miles) and within easy reach of Eastnor Castle. An ideal holiday location to explore the many landscapes of beautiful Herefordshire, the Wye Valley and the historic remains of past conflicts in this Border country. Riding, golf, fishing and walks nearby.

Summary: Really loved our stay at Orchard Chapel. Spotless and with great covid measures. We stayed over Christmas, and it was cosy and decorated festively to help us get in the mood. The fireplace is a real treat and it's well equipped. Our favourite thing ended up being the location - right on a ridge with incredible views in both directions meant we had loads to explore right out the front door. Summary: Orchard Chapel was great - felt really safe as all Covid requirements were adhered to scrupulously. As we didn't know the area well in advance of the visit, we were unable to book days out and everything was either booked up for the period of our stay or closed, but we had good walks in Eastnor Castle Park and the Malverns and managed to find a couple of places to eat out at lunchtime.
