Summary: The cottage was extremely well equipped, very comfortable and set in a superb quiet location, local shops were not on the doorstep, but we were happy to drive to them. The owners were attentive and helpful, not that we had any problems at all, but they were not in any way intrusive, a delightful couple. We loved the whole experience. Summary: Detached cottage, 1 of 3, not that you notice the others. Everything you want with regard to facilities. Spotlessly clean and very tastefully presented with obvious attention to detail. Summary: We had a wonderful week in this lovely cottage. Lovely owners made themselves known to us and were there should we have needed them, but otherwise left you to it. The cottage was cosy, very clean and welcoming. Very comfortable bed with lovely bedding and gorgeous fragrant towels. The kitchen was very well equipped. The cottage has lovely grounds which you are welcome to use and the dark skies made for wonderful evenings watching stars and owls overhead. The area is a delight and perfect for walkers and cyclists. Very close to the coast and a very accessible dog friendly beach at Cayton Bay. Perfect place for a peaceful break.
