Originally built in the 16th century, this ten-bedrooms stone farmhouse villa was recently renovated and it is now featuring modern furnishings and modern amenities. Use the villa as you would your own home in the Lucca countryside by the medieval hamlet of Montecarlo—there’s even a private health centre SPA and a grand panoramic terrace for outdoor dining with a magnificent view. The pergola-covered terrace is the perfect spot to sit, dine and enjoy the fresh air, and lush terraced gardens lead down to the infinity pool overlooking the estate
Stone walls and tall hedges make the villa’s grounds quiet and private. Catch up on reading in a lounger in the sun, cool off in the swimming pool, sit down for aperitivo on the three poster double sunbeds by the pool, and pick up market-fresh produce to toss on the barbecue and serve at the alfresco table for 20. While the home’s ancient roots dates back centuries, it also has state-of-the-art technology. If you can tear yourself away from the vista, there are 3 flat-screen televisions and a huge movie selection. A very Reliable Wifi connection is available throughout the house, the hayloft and the swimming pool. While relishing the privacy of your villa, starting from April 2021, the luxury health centre SPA experience awaits to pamper you with an infrared sauna, steam bath, emotional chromotherapy shower and a relaxing area. It all stands underneath the pool and it features a grand glass window that will inspire your meditation through the views of the wine country. A pool table/billiard room and an elevator that links all floor from the ground level completes the entertaining list of features of the Villa.
Step outside of VILLA DUEMANI, and you’re greeted by panoramic views featuring the best hills of Tuscany. It’s a short drive to both Lucca and Florence, just outside of a hilltop hamlet called Montecarlo and known for its Wine Route featuring the best wineries of the area.
Villa Duemani has a dedicated pickleball court, free to use during daylight, made with extra-flex comfort surface, a synthetic flooring with extremely elastic characteristics, to ensure a controlled run and a great comfort of play.
Weddings celebrations and other kind of events if accepted will involve an extra fee. Please make sure to check the optional service "owner's fees" in your booking, when you are planning to hold an event at the villa.
The rental includes the first and second floor of the villa plus the hayloft to which it is connected to through the outdoor dining terrace.

Summary: This is a big and beautiful farmhouse close to Lucca and Pisa. We had plenty of room for our group of 7. The patio is amazing to eat al fresco. Note: We visited in August and air-conditioning was a must. A very great house!!!

Summary: An incredible home in a beautiful setting. A group of 12 of us stayed for a few nights and had the best time. So so spacious. The place looks even better in real life. We had a few issues with AC, however Martina helped to sort out of the issues and there was great communication. Would recommend the villa to anyone!

Summary: This home and location are stunning. The space is great, the amenities are fabulous, but for the price we had hoped that everything would be perfect. We were not able to use the microwave or stove because the microwave is missing all the numbers and the oven has no instructions so we couldn't cook with it. The kitchen is poorly stocked with few knives/pots/pans. We were unaware that we would have to buy toilet paper, paper towels and 5 kinds of garbage bags. We were given 1 bath towel and a hand towel per person for an entire weeks stay. The sinks in the master bathroom are broken and the faucets are so low you can barely fit your hands under them to wash your hands. There is a gardener there almost every day, he uses the blower as early as 7:30am right next to the windows of the house. Again, the home is stunning and Martina, the house manager is delightful. It was just disappointing that the owners and property management team are not more customer focused.

Summary: Villa Duemani is a special place on earth. We feel so fortunate to have experienced it and can’t wait to go back. It is located among many interesting small towns in the area (make sure to check out Montecatini Alto with its cable car), but if you’re not planning on driving around, the villa is the perfect place to relax and take it all in. The hosts did an excellent job to create a comfortable, relaxing experience with many thoughtful touches throughout the villa. I hope we come back one day.

Summary: We loved our stay ar Villa Duemani so much! There were 13 members of our family there and we never felt crowded. Everyone had their own private spaces and a two wonderful dining areas to accommodate us. The pool and spas were very popular! We loved the hamlet of Montecarlo and has several wonderful meals there! We highly recommend this villa!

Summary: Our group of 10 had a wonderful time in this beautiful villa. Location was great, plenty of room and stunning outdoor spaces. Some minor updates would make it perfect. Neither coffee maker worked well. The towels need to be replaced and the shower heads were wonky. It is such a stunning place, I hope these small issues will be corrected. Despite these inconveniences I would gladly return.
