Summary: Wow. It was so fun to experience totami mats and bamboo room dividers. The house was between a canal and a train line. The clothes washer was appreciated. We ate at a neighborhood restaurant and the owner was delightful. Good local food too. We visited with an outside cat. The experience was a friendly neighborhood away from the hustle of the downtown.

Summary: An older place that is in a convenient area (walking distance to Fushimi Inari with lots of konbini nearby). As a bonus, the property had bikes! We had a blast.
