This 9,850 sq. ft. mansion is amazing! The 3 level main house has 6 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms it includes a pool table, Foosball, ping pong, and air hockey. Ample sitting areas with over sized kitchen, and a bar for entertaining. Gas insert fireplace to warm up by, and an amazing outside deck area with a grill, sitting area and an over sized hot tub. I almost forgot to mention your very own private movie theater with over 400 DVD selections. This amazing property sits on a private 2 acre lot with ample parking space and boat/trailer space available. Property is located less than 10 minutes from Heavenly Ski Resort and Casinos. We are across the street from Cave rock boat launch and 1.2 miles from Zephyr Cove beach resort and 2.5 miles to Round hill pines beach resort.
The main house has 6 total bedrooms 5 full bathrooms and can accommodate a total of 10 people. There are 2 private suites located above the garage in the Guesthouse each 1,000 sq. ft. with your own fireplace, living room area, and en-suite bathroom. Guests can request additional suites for a fee for each suite if additional space is required total of 10 guests still apply. This beautiful home is only minutes from Heavenly Ski Resort. Close to all mountain activities such as skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, sledding, hiking, biking and wonderful shopping and restaurants.

Summary: Our team really enjoyed the stay. There were plenty of bedrooms for everyone and it was a very welcoming house. The pool table and the theater were the biggest hits. The kitchen is perfect to cook for large groups. This would be a perfect place for a family reunion. The only drawback to the property were the two apartments over the garage. They were also wonderful spaces, but renters need to know that in each space, there is only one bathroom. Guests will go through/or past the other bed in order to use the bathroom. Not a problem for families, but inconvenient for other groups.

Summary: Loved the space, was perfect for a large group of guys. Spacious property lots of both inside and outside space and price felt fair. Close to golf courses, the lake and the casinos. All good things!

Summary: My friends and I had a great time at this location. Charles was communicative, helpful and pleasant in every interaction. The house is better than advertised and well-equipped for a great time. Excellent spacious property and close proximity to everything you’d want to do in South Lake.

Summary: We were a little nervous after reading a recent review that was not very favorable, however we found the house and our trip to be fabulous! Charles and Amy, our hosts, called ahead to see if we needed anything specific, and offer an early check in and at the end offered a late check out as well! Charles met us there and went over everything and showed us around. When we had questions, he answered quickly. "Accuracy of online listing" I gave a star less, only because it doesn't show just how wonderful the property actually is! The suites are better than the pics show. The details of the home are beautiful, yes there are a few things that need repair, carpet was a bit older, but mostly slight things, and they did not change how fantastic our experience was. My husband and I brought our 6 children, 3 sons-in-law and 6 grandchildren. That is a lot of personalities and every one of them LOVED the house. In fact it may be our annual go to! It's not easy to please everyone in a large family, but this place did just that. All the games were in working order, the theater was so fun, the hot tub was awesome. Enough room in the house for everyone :) We fell in love with the home and the details, the porch swing was a winner and the treager was used almost daily! Nevada beach is close by, great for a picnic and bike ride. And casinos just minutes down the road. Just a great time! Thank you Charles and Amy!!

Summary: We have been welcomed by a very intense, rigid and rude host who toured the house with us insinuating and assuming that we were renting his property to damage it. The Private Chef we hired for our stay had the hardest time getting in touch with the owner to ask the questions allowing him to plan and prepare the stay. He was able to do so after being ignored for days. Even though we attempted diligent prépara and planning, we found out upon arrival that the appliances are so old and used up that it hindered his capacity at doing a good job. The house will sell for hours after every meal. You should bring your own plates, silverware and glasses. We stopped counting the moments where the house and the rooms tell you “You’re not home here”. There was a misunderstanding in the booking, the number of people the house can host and the accessibility of the guest and it resulted in the organizer of the event being yelled at over the phone never to be spoken to ever again. We felt scammed when we couldn’t find access to the lake. The ad suggests a view on the lake. Think more of an obstructed view on the lake and no access to it. It is palpable that when he welcomes you, the host sees the deception in our eyes and turns into justification mode. All the amenities advertised date back from the 90s don’t expect anything recent nor new. We are used to rent properties like this for our retreats as a tech team. We will never rent this one out ever again. The bunk beds are so noisy and old that the noise of the old old upper bed wakes up the people underneath. The backyard is an absolute dangerous mess. You cannot play pool because the cues have no chalk, you cannot play foosball because the table is broken. The Game room is not enjoyable and full of cheap versions of entertainment features. Don’t forget to bring your own balls. There are two notable highlights that the team has truly enjoyed: the jacuzzi, even though far away from the house, is top notch and the theater has very comfortable seating. The table doesn’t sit more than 10 people at a time and the dining room is the only place you can eat. When you walk around the house you smell the dust all the time and see the dirt in the windows. The exterior of the house is gorgeous and will make for great pictures. You need to prepare to take cold showers with no water pressure in the Masters’s bedroom. Bottom line, given the price , you have so many better options in Tahoe than this house and the host knows it.

Summary: The owners are wonderful host. They are very friendly and prompt in responding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was full of needed items to feel right at home. The only suggestions we have is to consider better signage from the road view as every agent missed the entrance multiple times and it can be dangerous for out of towners who aren't familiar with the area and the quick turn off from the main freeway. I'd also consider updating the carpet and appliances in the additional house at some point if cost effective as the property is beautiful and it will add additional value and spruce up such a beautiful mansion. Adding nice light fixtures and hiding the wires in the downstairs wash room area for safety would also potentially be helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay... Thanks so much

Summary: We enjoyed our stay and this was perfect for our needs with plenty of room for 12 people to spread out. The fenced backyard kept kids and pets comfortable--important given the property's location close to Highway 50. Our host was helpful and even gave us the name of someone who catered a delicious meal for us. Rooms are large and airy and great for family entertaining. It was easy to keep the kids happy with a selection of games and a private movie theater. Definitely keeping this in mind for another family vacation.
