Positive: Booked room with two queen beds for one-night stay with family (10/12/2024). Overall, our room was clean and very well maintained. Parking - Very convenient. I parked in front of our room. Remote-started the vehicle from bed. Flooring - Laminate wood flooring (not carpet). I felt better immediately, no concerns of carpet allergens and other nasty buried surprises. Bathroom - Exceptionally clean. Very bright lighting. Kohler sink and walk-in shower. One-piece toilet. Bedding - Well tucked clean sheets and blanket (that should always to be expected). Firm mattress. Cabinets/table - Already, very clean. I did a full wipe-down with bounty towels of all table-top surfaces and generally any area before I put down our items/luggage (including floor). The only "not-clean" surface was the storage space under the bed side table, mostly accumulated dust. Electrical plugs - Plenty of convenient wall plugs. It's a small room so the enclosing walls were about 1/2 foot to each queen bed. There were plugs on both walls and the bedside table. Was able to charge and use our phones/labtop in bed without criss-crossing cables over the other person or having to get up (convenient). Air conditioner/Heat Pump - They had an in-wall unit located in the back part of room (next to bathroom). Whether by design or coincidence the location of the unit allowed for more even distribution of air (without that fan effect of air blowing directly at you).
Negative: Noise - There was a party at the catering hall next door. Very loud music until 3am. But I don't think there is much any motel can do to keep that kind of volume out. Rather silly but now we have to consider including earplugs in the traveler bag. Shower - Sufficient, but below average showerhead water pressure. However, the water pressure at the sink faucet was good. So perhaps the filter in the showerhead needs cleaning. Night light - Something they should consider installing since the bathroom light is much too bright for when you wake up to use the bathroom at night.
Summary: Excellent for travelers just looking for a very clean motel room.
