Summary: Everything was as advertised and the property made for a nice secluded base camp. It was nice to have the fenced yard for the dogs and the extra space in the cabins. The children also loved spending time in the sunroom even when it was too cold for the grown-ups.

Summary: Jochen was a wonderful host and this was truly the most tranquil and beautiful property to spend our Thanksgiving this year! The location of the property and the grounds are far better than we could have imagined. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed (even for a big Thanksgiving dinner) and the guest cabins are truly such a wonderful touch. There was plenty of firewood for use and we had both indoor and outdoor fires with s'mores during our stay. There is a small trail that goes around the property and was perfect for walking our dogs or just taking a stroll to connect with nature. The property is also the perfect place for a woodsy family photo shoot. Communication with Jochen was wonderful. I left a set of keys at the property and he was prompt in getting them returned to me after our stay. Thank you for everything and we look forward to returning!

Summary: When I first viewed this rental I wondered if it was too good to be true. Absolutely not. It was so true to the description and better!! It was so peaceful and gorgeous. The walking trail was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed the firepit while basking in the full moon. There was plenty of firewood and the piano was such an added bonus. Thank you. A+
